Lese gerade, dass VMware Fusion 12 mit Unterstützung für Big Sur erwartungsgemäß angekündigt ist. Zwei auffällige Neuerungen:

Keine Kernel Extension mehr. Das will Apple ja auch so - künftig setzt man auf sog. Hypervisor-API.

Fusionplayer ersetzt Fusion Standard - und ist für private Nutzung kostenlos. Super!
