Allerdings habe ich ja eine Demoversion auf meinem alten DELL Firmenlaptop laufen, da flutscht alles

Nativ unter Windows, jetzt läuft es ja Virtualisiert. Das ist ein gewaltiger Unterschied.

Was sagt der Hersteller

freigegeben für virtualis?

Es gibt eine Menge Software die nicht freigegeben ist, bzw. Nicht getestet wurde. Oder nur unter bestimmten Virtualisierern.

verlangt zwar laut Hersteller 16 GB RAM, die ich ja nicht freigeben kann, da meine Parallels Version das nicht zulässt, aber ich denke nicht, dass es daran liegt, denn ich habe eine Demoversion auf dem Win-Laptop (8 GB RAM) installiert, da fetzt es.

Wie gesagt, nativ vs. Virtualisierung. Und dann noch unterhalb der Systemempfehlungen.

Nein, früher lief alles zügig (außer Time Machine war tätig), ich kann es nicht 100% festlegen, aber gefühlt läuft alles seit dem Upgrade auf PD18 langsamer.
Also auch Windows OHNE Performance mindernde Software.

Eventuell versuche ich auch noch mal, Windows auf Bootcamp zu installieren um zu sehen, wie die Performance dann so ist. Dann müsste ich ja die ganze Power meines Mac mini zu spüren bekommen.

PD18 noch mal neu könnte ich machen; eine ältere macht m. M. keinen Sinn, weil die neueste Version ja angeblich immer "optimiert" und noch besser ist. Und die anderen VMs nehmen sich nícht viel i. Vgl. zu PD denke ich. PD ist ja doch der Platzhirsch.

Da solltest Du das mal probieren. Ausschlussverfahren ist eh die einzige Möglichkeit um die Ursache jetzt einzugrenzen.

Und die anderen VMs nehmen sich nícht viel i. Vgl. zu PD denke ich. PD ist ja doch der Platzhirsch.

wenn Du das meinst, aber anders wirst Du den Fehler nicht eingrenzen können.

naja, nicht wirklich. Da steht zum Beispiel too much CPU usage und die Gesichtserkennung in Fotos.app läuft noch, die zumindest am 12.1. noch Schuld daran war. Dann ist kaum Speicher frei - das soll zwar so sein, setzt aber voraus, dass das im Speicher ist, was drin sein soll und nicht ständig geswappt wird. Der Swap darf auch nicht ausgeschaltet sein.

Darf ich auch noch mal fragen: Die virtuelle Maschine ist auf der internen SSD abgelegt und nicht etwa auf der langsamen externen Festplatte?

Ansonsten muss man noch zusammenfassen, dass der Rechner extrem viele Sachen installiert hat. Das hat meiner auch, aber meiner läuft und nicht alles, was ich bei Dir sehe, kenne ich und würde meine Hand dafür ins Feuer legen. Ein halbes Gigabyte RAM für ein Tool von Logitech… irks.

Die Gesichtserkennung in Fotos.app brauche ich nicht - kann man die abschalten?
Wenn man neu startet, sollte sich das mit dem Swap aber doch auch erledigen, oder?

Ich hatte die VM früher mal extern, aber seit ich den Mac mini habe, habe ich alles auf der internen SSD. Funktionierte ja auch alles wunderbar bis zu dem Performanceverlust, den ich hier versuche zu lösen...

Ich werde mal ein paar Programm runterschmeißen, aber ob das wirklich mein Problem löst? die Logitech App brauche ich nicht wirklich, die kann schonmal weg...

wahrscheinlich ist es nicht die Zahl an Apps, sondern eine oder zwei bestimmte, die einfach inkompatibel sind und/oder eben Performance fressen könnten - genau weiß ich es auch nicht, es ist im EtreCheck, das nur ein Inventarisierungsprogramm ist, jedenfalls nicht aufgefallen. Vielleicht findest Du in der Aktivitätsanzeige verdächtiges.

Gesichtserkennung läuft automatisch. Vermutlich kannst Du im sicheren Modus neustarten, die Fotos-Mediathek in einem Buchstaben im Finder im Namen ändern, sodass sie als Systemmediathek nicht mehr gefunden wird und noch einmal neustarten. Empfehlenswert ist das Vorgehen jedoch nicht, zumal ich immer noch nicht verstanden habe, was exakt Dein Problem ist. Nachdem man Dich schon mehrfach gefragt hat musst Du einfach selbst analysieren, ob bei Dir eher IO oder RAM oder CPU der Flaschenhals ist und dann entsprechend weitersuchen.
