Programme starten nicht

So, nun ist es wieder so weit und die Programme boykottieren ihren Dienst. Bevor ich versucht habe mich abzumelden, habe ich alle Programme im Dock starten lassen, aber 1Password, Opera und co. hüpfen nur wiederwillig auf und ab, im Falle von 1Password gab es überhaupt keine Reaktion.
Der Abmeldeversuch, um von einem kürzlich angelegten Benutzerkonto zu starten, hat nicht funktioniert. Der Mac ist nicht aus dem Zustand des blauen Bildschirms + Ladekreis herausgekommen und nach 10min hab' ich den Stecker gezogen.

Hast dus denn nochmal mit dem sicheren Systemstart versucht (Shift-Taste halten)?
Soviel ich weiss, werden da durchaus Wartungsarbeiten ausgeführt, zumindest die Font-Caches sollten gelöscht werden.
Defekte Fonts sind seit 10.5 zwar nicht mehr so häufig anzutreffen, haben in einer früheren OS-Version
bei mir schon mal für ähnliche Symptome gesorgt.

Was sagt denn die Konsole (/Programme/Dienstprogramm/Konsole.app), wenn z.b. Opera nicht startet?

Sicheren Systemstart hab ich nicht mehr gemacht, kann ich aber beim nächsten Versagen von OS X machen. Aber weil ich den schon mal gemacht habe, glaube ich nicht an eine Verbesserung… Mir ist außerdem noch aufgefallen, dass sich Youtube-Videos nicht mehr laden lassen, vielleicht kann sich jemand einen Reim darauf machen.

Hmm mir fällt "Bug: launchd_core_logic.c" ins Auge. Das ist, wie der Name schon sagt, ein Teil von launchd. launchd startet Prozesse, um's einfach zu machen.

Vielleicht guckst du mal in die Aktivitätsanzeige, ob da nicht irgend ein Prozess amok läuft und launchd killt...?

Wow, jetzt ist es schon nach einem Tag und 18h wieder so weit…
Jetzt wollte ich gerade noch die Aktivitätsanzeige überprüfen, leider lässt sich das Fenster nicht öffnen (obwohl die Aktivitätsanzeige schon gestertet ist).
Mir ist aufgefallen, dass das Problem scheinbar früher zum Tragen kommt, wenn mein Mac verstärkt am swapen ist, denn genau jetzt habe ich 1,2GB im Swap. Gestern waren das noch deutlich mehr.

Wie dem auch sei, ich werde wohl neu starten müssen…

Nun, da ich wieder zurückgekehrt bin und wieder klar denken kann habe ich mich weiter mit den Programmen beschäftigt. Nachdem der Mac einige Tage im Ruhestand war und ich ihn gestartet habe, ist mir aufgefallen, dass er immens langsam war. iTunes hat merkwürdige Dinge gemacht (nur den Ton bei Filmen abgespielt) und Safari war auch mit Schrittgeschwindigkeit unterwegs und hat teilweise verweigert Videos (Youtube) zu starten (wobei dafür auch das Internet schuldig sein könnte).
Die Programme ließen sich allerdings starten. Dafür passieren plötzlich andere merkwürdige Dinge: Manche Icons im Dock werden nicht angezeigt, sie sind unsichtbar, lassen sich aber anklicken (Burn, Microsoft Office,…)

Wegen diesen ganzen kuriosen Machenschaften habe ich mir überlegt Snow Leopard neu zu installieren. Ich habe einige Backups (Time-Mashine) aber will natürlich nicht alles wieder drauf, womöglich kommen dann die schlechten Angewohnheiten wieder zurück ^^. Ist es möglich einzelne Programme von einem Backup wiederherzustellen?

Wo sind die Icons verschwunden, im Dock oder im Programmordner? Wenn aus dem Dock, dann ziehe die Lücken alle heraus und starte die Programme neu.
Du solltest nicht gleich neu installieren, sondern auf Fehlersuche gehen. Dazu öffnest du mal die Konsole (etwa nachdem du Safari gestartet hast und eine Seite sich so langsam geöffnet hat) und schaust was dazu in "Alle Mitteilungen! steht. Das Programm Konsole liegt in den Dienstprogrammen, diese sind im Programmordner zu finden. Wenn du Flash Videos nur bedingt abspielen kannst, dann ist das normal. Apple lehnt Flash ab.

Uhm... eigentlich ist das nicht abspielen können von Youtube-Videos nicht normal.
Übermäßig und unnötig CPU-Intensiv, ja, aber gar nicht ist nicht normal.

Also irgendwas spinnt bei dir gehörig, echt. Hast mal in der Aktivitätsanzeige gecheckt, ob irgendwas amok läuft? Auge auf die Speicher/CPU-Auslastung geworfen?

Eine saubere Neuinstallation könnte das Problem u.U. tatsächlich beheben.

Programme, die keinerlei "Installation" bedürfen, wo du also nur das .app in deinen Programmordner gezogen hast, kannst du so wiederherstellen. Das klappt, afaik, mit Office bspw. nicht. Das muss installiert werden. Bin mir aber gerade bei Office nicht sicher.

Mach am besten langsam beim wiederherstellen/neu installieren von Apps. Wenn du die Kiste neu aufsetzt und gleich alles wieder installierst und irgendwas davon das Problem verursacht, kannste immer noch nicht feststellen, was es war.

Geh fyysh, zuerst muss der Fehler gefunden werden. Dauerndes Neuinstallieren ist eine W-Gewohnheit. Aber wenn DerHeldimzelt nicht suchen will, dann werde ich ihn nicht hindern (können).
Dass er in der Aktivitätsanzeige nachschauen soll, hast du ihm schon vor einer Woche vorgeschlagen. Macht er halt nicht.
Er könnte auch von seinem Adminuser (denn, wenn er klug ist, hat er ja 2 User und arbeitet nur mit dem "Rechtlosen) starten und prüfen, ob da die gleichen unangenehmen Phänomene auftreten.
Wenn er nur drüber installiert, hat er das gleiche oder ein ähnliches Schlamassel gleich wieder. Denn garantiert ist nicht das System schuld, sondern (wie meistens) der User.

Hallo,
die Icons sind im Dock verschwunden. Bei den besagten Programmen hilft ein Neustart nicht. Die Konsole werde ich mir dann zu Herzen nehmen. Die Aktivitätsanzeige habe ich gestartet und war auch gestern einsatzbereit, leider war ich nicht ganz fit (Abifahrt…) und hab nicht all zu viel nachgedacht. Einen zweiten User habe ich auch angelegt, aber wenn der Mac nicht mehr gehorcht, lässt sich der Benutzer nicht mehr wechseln.
Eine Woche den rechtlosen User zu benutzen sehe ich kritisch, weil ich den Großteil meiner Programme nur für den Admin installiert habe.
Die Neuinstallation werde ich nur im äußersten Notfall machen, weil mir das Wiederherstellen einzelner Dateien zu aufwändig ist.
