iMac (21,5 Zoll, Ende 2015) extrem langsam

Hallo mein iMac ist sehr langsam.

Ich hab einmal mit Etresoft einen Report erstellt. Da ich aber des englischen nur bedingt mächtig bin, kann ich mit dem Ergebnis wenig anfangen. Kann mir jemand von euch helfen?

Der iMac hat auch eine alte HDD Disk. Würde es einen Zugewinn an Geschwindigkeit bringen, wenn ich eine SSD per USB anschließen? Ich würde dann die SSD als Festplatte verwenden, auf der ich dann das Betriebssystem installieren.

Die Schadsoftware war von mir nicht auf diesen iMac installiert. Zuvor hatte ich einen Mac mini von dem ich meine Daten übernommen hab. Vermutlich stammt der Mist von dem Rechner. Kannst Du mir sagen wie ich diese Reste der Schadsoftware finde und dann lösche?

Ich hab jetzt ClamXav im Finder in der Suchleiste eingegeben. Bekomme dort aber kein Ergebnis. Wo finde ich das Programm sonst?

Naja, der USB-Port auf dem 2015er iMac mit seinen per USB III möglichen 5Gbit/s nützt die Performance einer SSD nicht ganz aus. Besser, wenn auch deutlich teuerer, wäre ein SSD-Gehäuse oder Komplett-SSD mit Thunderbolt 2, da man damit auf die vierfache Port-Geschwindigkeit kommt. Wenn aber USB, dann darauf achten dass UASP unterstützt wird. Das ist nicht bei allen USB-Gehäusen für separate SSDs oder Festplatten der Fall

ich habe jetzt auf eine externe SSD umgerüstet.
Der Rechner läuft jetzt wesentlich besser. Alle Programme starten flüssig und schnell.
Dennoch habe ich noch mal einen EtreCheck Report angefügt.

Meine Frage: findet sich hier jetzt immer noch Reste von Schadsoftware?
Falls Jahr wie bekomme ich die wieder gelöscht?

Zum Beispiel könntest du noch Spotlight ausprobieren. Command + Leertaste öffnet das Suchfenster (oder falls du es eingeblendet hast gibt es ganz oben rechts in der Menubar eine kleine Lupe), vielleicht hilft das noch

Das System habe ich auf die SSD auf folgende Weise gebracht. Ich hab einen Boot Stick erstellt. Damit habe ich das Betriebssystem installiert. Und danach habe ich mit Time Machine meine Daten wieder installiert/zurückgeholt

Den McKeever habe ich unter der Stelle gefunden und in den Papierkorb verschoben. Aber Kaspersky unter

Kaspersky ist die klnke.kext. So steht es auch oben im etrecheck Bericht. Steht nicht im Namen, dürfte aber zu finden sein, wenn du nach „Inhalt“ suchst. Unter „Andere“ kannst du wie erwähnt diverse weitere Feinjustierungen vornehmen, also zum Beispiel nur nach Systemdateien suchen oder auch nach Zugriffszeit auf die Datei oder Ortsangaben etc.
