hat alles problemlos geklappt, lustigerweise läuft mein app drawer flüssiger als mit mavericks^^
aber mein erster eindruck ist eher negativ, von den Bildern her fand ich das Design noch ok, aber jetzt wo ich es vor mir habe, die Farben der app icons sind mir zu grell...Die schließen schaltfläche also der rote punkt wirkt irgendwie matschig bzw. als hätte es ein Kind gemalt, man hat app icons geändert damit sie halt geändert sind, laufen tut es bis jetzt sehr gut aber von der optik, ich weiß nicht..Neue Icons, neue Schrift fertig ist das neue OS

Mail hab ich leider noch keine bekommen und die Website ist "under heavy load"...

Es funktionierte eben gerade bei mir. Mir wurde ein komplett neuer Code generiert. Also einfach noch mal versuchen dann klappt's auch!

OSX 10.10 läuft bis jetzt mehr als gut und performant, habe bis jetzt nur zwei Grafikfehler gesehen z.b bei finder und hilfe....
Was mir persönlich überhaupt nicht gefällt ist dieses komische blau von den Ordnern, die symbolleiste von safari lässt sich nicht anpassen, die Lesezeichen sind mittig und nicht linksbündig was mir persönlich besser gefallen würde...
VLC Player und Thunderbird funktionieren problemlos, mein HP Drucker funktioniert auch problemlos über das Netzwerk...

Kann man die Transparenz des Docks ändern? wahrscheinlich nicht, verstehe nicht warum man das nicht dem User überlässt..

Unterm Strich absolut stabil und problemlos

Bei mir lädt er die Beta 1, ist das richtig?

Performance ist gut.

Programmsymbole,Systemerweiterungen,Ordner werden nicht korrekt dargestellt.

Die optische Umgewöhung ist krass.

In dieser Form (wie zu erwarten) kein funktions-und arbeitswürdiges Erstsystem.

Apple hat noch sehr viel zu tun und ich bezweifle,das es im Oktober 2014 etwas mehr ist als eine weitere Beta ist.

5. Installation Known Issue – Migrating from a Mac running Yosemite Developer Preview to another Mac running Yosemite Developer 4 using Wi-Fi or ethernet may not work.
6. CloudKit Note – All public CloudKit databases are scheduled to be emptied on Tuesday, July 22nd.
7. Extensions Known Issue – Finder Sync extensions may not function correctly.
8. Family Sharing Known Issues:
9. - Shared purchase history page on Mac App Store and iOS App Store are disabled.
10. - Items already owned by family members must be re-downloaded from the Purchased page (not Store pages) to get them free of additional charge.
11. Finder Known Issues:
12. - Some graphical corruption may be visible when using Icon View in Finder.
13. - When in list view, sorting alphabetically may not produce the expected results.
14. Handoff Known Issues:
15. - Searches for directions and places of interest in Maps may not be available for handoff on another device.

26. - iCloud Drive can be re-enabled from Setup Assistant after upgrade. If you choose to store your documents in iCloud Drive, your Documents & Data will automatically be copied to iCloud Drive. iCloud Drive will not update across earlier seeds or operating systems.
27. - iCloud Documents & Data created with OS X Yosemite Developer Preview will not sync with with Documents and Data managed with iOS 7, OS X Mavericks, or earlier operating systems.
28. - The UI for managing iCloud Documents & Data does not show the documents and data for iOS 8 Beta and OS X Yosemite Developer Preview. It only shows the documents and data synced with previous operating systems.
29. - Changes to iCloud Documents & Data in Pages, Numbers, and Keynote on Macs using OS X Yosemite Developer Preview are only available on other devices using OS X Yosemite Developer Preview or iOS 8.0 beta. Any changes from devices using earlier versions of OS X or iOS will not be available. Changes will also not be visible in Pages, Numbers, and Keynote on iCloud.com.

31. - Some account password prompts may request the same login information several times before dismissing.
32. Aperture Notes – Only Aperture 3.5.1 will run on OS X Yosemite Developer Preview 4. Older versions of Aperture will not launch.

59. Safari Known Issues:
60. - Date & Size limits set in Safari are not enforced in Developer Preview 4.
61. - Safari may stop responding while loading video when playing Netflix content.
62. - Javascript links on some websites may fail to open.
63. - On certain machines, some forms of protected content, such as Netflix, may fail to play back. To resolve hold down option during the next reboot and select your OS X Yosemite partition.
64. SMS Known Issue – On OS X Yosemite Developer Preview 4, you can receive SMS messages sent to your iPhone running iOS 8 beta, but you may not be able to send SMS messages.
65. Tools Notes:
66. - In Developer Preview 4, unsigned or improperly signed kexts will not be loaded. To use unsigned kexts during development, this strict check can be disabled by adding a “kext-dev-mode=1” boot arg.
67. - AVFoundation changes the way some ID3 metadata values are represented as AVMetadataItems for binaries that are linked with the Developer Preview 4 SDK.
68. - Installing kernel extensions on systems running Developer Preview 4 may make your system un-bootable. To fix the issue, boot into the Recovery Partition and run the following:
69. ⁃ touch /Volumes/<10.10 Partition>/System/Library/Extensions
70. ⁃ kextcache -u /Volumes/<10.10 Partition>
71. - In OS X Yosemite Developer Preview 3 and iOS 8.0 beta 2, the NSURLSessionTask class provides a new priority property. Complete usage details are available in the NSURLSession.h header file, provided by the Foundation framework.
72. - URLForUbiquityContainerIdentifier might return nil when running your application in Xcode. If so, open System Preferences, navigate to Cloud and iCloud Drive, and enable Xcode.

75. - Some operations in Disk Utility may fail on volumes that have installed OS X Yosemite. Use the diskutil cs command-line tool to make these modifications.

78. - Local OS X group accounts may be lost after upgrading to Developer Preview 4.
79. - AppleID screen sharing may not work in Developer Preview 4.
80. - The login window may not display users. Reboot the system to resolve this problem.

Seit eineinhalb Stunden dauert es nur "noch ungefähr 7 Minuten"

Habe gelesen, dass es länger dauert als die Restzeitanzeige, aber ist das noch normal ?

Doch, kann man so sagen, da es so auch in den OS-X-Betabedingungen steht. iCloud-Drive ist z. B. nicht enthalten.

Ich selbst nutze eh nur meine eigene Cloud Drive daher würde ich das nicht merken, jedoch kann ich dir sagen das in der Seitenleiste von Finder auch in der Public Beta das iDrive aufgelistet wird. Man kann auch etwas ablegen, jedoch wird es nicht Synchronisiert mit der DP4 welche die Entwickler haben.

Adressbuch, Kalender, Erinnerungen, Notizen diese gehen aber und Änderungen werden sofort überall angezeigt iOS7, OS 10.9.4 und auch unter 10.10 B1 bzw. 10.10 DP4

Die Kommunikation zu iOS8 also Telefonieren und SMS bzw. Handoff. Kann ich nicht beurteilen, denn auch wenn ich mir iOS8 laden könnte. So habe ich kein iPhone daheim welches ich dafür opfern könnte zum testen. Was man so liest funktionieren einige Apps noch nicht, die ich aber in Alltag benötige. Wundert mich aber nicht, denn ist halt eine Beta.

Ich hatte es zum ersten Test auf eine SD-Karte installiert, was aber eher ein Reinfall war. Das erinnerte stark an ein abstürzendes Windows 95. Bei jedem Klick sekundenlange Verzögerung und jedes Mal kommt der sich drehende Ball. Kann also dem nur Abraten!

Da hier erwähnt wurde, dass sich die Recovery nicht ändert, werde ich es wohl auf eine interne Partition installieren!
