Ist es gut? und bringt es überhaupt was?

im prinzip ist es nichts anderes als der AHT (= apple hardware test) den du von der installations dvd oder je nach computer von festplatte starten kannst. die tech tool deluxe bietet dir eine grafische oberfläche aber sonst sind mir keine signifikanten unterschiede bekannt

Also das würde ich nicht sagen.
Soweit ich weiß, liest es den S.M.A.R.T.-Status der Festplatte aus und hat noch die ein oder andere relativ nützliche Funktion.
