seit kurzem kämpfe ich mal wieder mit regelmäßig auftretenden Kernel Panics.
Ich habe meinen Mac von Tiger auf SL aktualisiert und schrittweise alle benötigenden Updates raufgespielt. Alles schien super zu funktionieren, bis kurz danach die erste Kernel Panic wieder auftrat.
Ich hatte das Problem mit KP's schon einmal nach Update auf SL, dann bin ich wieder zurück zu Tiger und wurde seither auch verschont. Mir hat man gesagt, dass ich mit der SL Version, die ich damals installiert hatte, evtl. eine Stufe übersprungen habe und das der Grund war.
Ich brauche aber für das neue iPad die SL Version, habe deshalb mit Apple gesprochen, ihnen verraten welche Macbook-Generation ich habe und was ich für eine SL brauche, die bei mir auch einwandfrei läuft.
Jetzt zu den Symptomen meiner Kernel Panics:
Sie treten auf, wenn ich in Safari surfe - genauer: wenn ich Videos streame und viele Tabs gleichzeitig geöffnet habe. Nicht immer, sondern meist nur einmal am Tag, nach einer gewissen Weile Streaming und Inanspruchnahme durch viele geöffnete Seiten.
Und außerdem hat mich eine Panic erwischt, als ich mit GarageBand und IVORY (einem ziemlich arbeitsspeicherfressenden Musiksoftwareprogramm) zugange war und der Mac gewaltig am rackern war.
