[10.14 Mojave] iMac mit Mojave kann Softwareupdate für iOS27 nicht laden

Hallo Leute,

ich nutze meinen alten iMac immer noch um die Daten mit meinem Sport iPad zu synchronisieren. Der iMac lief ewig auf Mojave und in einem sinnlosen Anfall von Schwachsinn habe ich auf Catalina aktualisiert.
Ab da gab es nur Probleme, die geänderten MP3s wurde von Apple Music nicht als "neu" identifiziert und somit nicht auf das iPad synchronisiert. Hatte ich also das Cover oder Meta Daten angepasst, musste ich die Datei aus Apple Music entfernen und neu hinzufügen damit es wieder synchronisiert wird. Außerdem hat Catalina den iMac komplett lahmgelegt und ich konnte es nicht beheben - Das Arbeiten damit war praktisch unmöglich.

Ich bin daher zurück auf Mojave, dass war natürlich auch ein Problem. Erstens ist mit TimeMachine kein Rollback möglich, zweitens sind die Apple Zertifikate abgelaufen. Es ging also nur über ein Installationsstick.

Mitterweile ist also wieder Mojave drauf, aber weil da wohl SSL Zertifikate fehlen, meckert Safari auf jeder Website (ok nimmt man Firefox ESL) und iCloud kann man auch nicht mehr nutzen, da es ja eine Neuinstallation nun ist. (Passwörter, WLAN Schlüssel, Favoriten etc)

Aber das eigentliche Problem tritt nun mit iOS27 auf, nachdem ich mein iPad aktualisiert habe kann iTunes die Daten nicht mehr synchronisieren. Weil macOS das benötigte Software Update nicht runterladen kann.

Kann ich das irgendwie manuell runterladen? (weil dann mit Firefox)
Kann man die Zertifikate in Mojave irgendwie per Terminal updaten und das Problem so lösen?
Oder liegt das einfach daran das iOS27 mit 10.14 einfach nicht mehr kann? Bis zur letzen iOS26 Version ging alles Problemlos.

Apple sagt natürlich das gleiche wie immer:
1. Das Gerät ist viel zu alt
2. Alle Mitarbeiter die Mojave noch kennen, sind längst aus dem Konzern
3. mit Catalina ist alles besser

Ich meine da Apple nicht mal die aktuellen Probleme auf der aktuellen Hardware lösen kann, lassen wir das einfach.

Ich könnte auch wieder auf Catalina, seit dem auf der HDD die Partiton neuaufgebaut ist, läuft der iMac sowieso viel schneller als Vorher. Aber dann hab ich wieder das Problem das Apple Music die Änderungen in den MP3s nicht wahrnimmt und ich die Dateien aus der Mediathek nicht neusynchronisiert, wenn es eine Änderung gab.

Gibt es echt keine Lösung?

Kennt jemand eine Software mit der man die iTunes Bibliothek synchronisieren kann?
Imazing hat auch Zugriff auf iOS27 / iPadOS27 kann aber nicht synchronisieren, sondern nur Manuell kopieren.

Warum schießt Du Dir selbst ins Knie?

Erstens ist mit TimeMachine kein Rollback möglich

Wieso? Hast Du das Backup gelöscht? Du hast doch Zeitpunkte aller Dateien *vor* dem Upgrade.
Im allerschlimmsten Fall installierst Du Mojave sauber neu und bei der Ersteinrichtung nimmst Du das Backup und wählst den Zeitpunkt vor dem Upgrade auf Catalina (habe ich so noch nicht gemacht, verbessere mich bitte jemand, aber ich würde erwarten, dass ein altes Backup nicht plötzlich nicht mehr geht).

Hier war ich wohl Missverständlich. Natürlich sind die Daten noch da.
Aber ein so altes macOS hat keine 2FA etc. So das du im Betriebssystem Funktionen nicht mehr zum laufen bekommst. Sie liefen nur noch, weil sie schon vor der Erfindung liefen.

Aber es ist soweit alles durch. Mojave ist frisch installiert, Daten sind vorhanden, iCloud / Passwörter etc. Gehen jetzt nicht mehr.

Aber die Entscheidende Frage bleibt, bekomme ich iOS27 / iPadOS27 irgendwie unter Mojave in iTunes verbunden, oder gibt es eine 3rd Anbieter App (auch Gebührenpflichtig), mit der man die iTunes Bibliothek synchronisieren kann? Also Änderungen, Neues, Gelöschtes wird auch auf dem iPhone / iPad synchronisiert.

Ein Downgrade auf iPadOS wäre auch eine Option, Apple hat iOS26 aber nicht mehr signiert.

ein bisschen falsch . Apple hatte damals eingeführt, dass wenn man zumindest ein Gerät hat, wo der 2FA ankommt, man in Geräten, die kein 2FA können man das Passwort gefolgt vom 2FA eingeben kann und dann kann man sich da auch authentifizieren. Also Du gibst deinen Accountnamen ein (Mailadresse), dann im Passwortfeld Dein Passwort und direkt dahinter den Code.

Deine sonstigen Probleme hängen glaube ich daran. Systemupdates machen, dann sollte das eigentlich wieder laufen (inkl. Safari)

Apple schreibt zum iPhone 18 Pro, dass das Requirement zum Sync min. High Sierra 10.13 mit iTunes 12.8 sei. Das passt also. Dein Problem ist, dass Du die Updates nicht drauf hast.

Stimmt danke an den Reimender für 2FA. Jetzt erinnere ich mich wieder.
Schön wieder Zugriff darauf zu haben.

Aber das Problem ist, dass es keine Updates gibt.

tschuldige, da war ich etwas unpräzise. Ich meinte: die Internetkonnektivität sollte wieder bestehen, der AppStore und der Softwareupdateserver wieder funktionieren und dann musst Du das iPad mit einem korrekten Kabel anschließen und entsperren. Soweit ich mich entsinne, kommt dann ein Fenster wie Du das auch gescreenshottet hattest (Um eine Verbindung zu "iPad mini" herzustellen...). Das muss dann das Softwareupdate einmal herunterladen, installieren und ich glaube einen Neustart braucht es auch noch.

Internet ging vorher schon. Sämtliche iCloud Sync konnte ich durch den 2FA Trick lösen, wobei heute die 2FA Frage nicht kam. Aber jetzt geht iCloud wieder.

Google sieht wegen den veralteten Zertifikaten in Safari anders aus, aber das ist alles nicht das Grundproblem.

Das eigentliche Problem ist das er für iOS27 / iPadOS27 eine Update braucht, wie immer.
Dieses kann er aber nicht runterladen. Siehe den Screenshots. Bis iOS26 konnte er auch ohne iCloud Schlüsselbund - hierfür egal, macht das Leben aber besser - runterladen. Seit iOS27 / iPadOS27 kann er das aber nicht.

Neustart ist nach diesen Updates für iOS / iPadOS Geräte nicht nötig.

Daher meine Frage, kann man das iOS27 Update manuell installieren? Gibt es eine Drittanbieter Software?

- Bis iOS26.6.2 ging alles reibungslos. (auch ohne Schlüsselbund aus iCloud)
- Apple verweigert jegliche Hilfe, sagt nur Kauf einen neuen Mac.
- Die Apple Hilfe-Dokumente sprechen nirgendwo davon das iOS27 nicht mehr supportet wird.
- Ein Downgrade des iPads auf iOS26 ist mangels Apple Signierung nicht mehr möglich. (Wäre mir aber auch Recht, weil Sync wichtiger als neue iOS ist)

das liegt wahrscheinlich an abgelaufenen Zertifikaten (und, wie ich feststellen musste, auch an nicht mehr gepflegten Software-Downloads bei Apple, so z.B. verweist der Apple Installer für Mojave auf https, der Download ist jedoch nur mit http nutzbar).

Daher meine Frage, kann man das iOS27 Update manuell installieren?

das sollte eigentlich nicht schwierig sein, wenn man einen Anhaltspunkt dafür haben könnte - z.B. wenn jemand mit Mojave versucht, ein iPad mit iPadOS27 anzuschließen, das Update installiert und dabei über einen Proxy geht, bei dem man die URL sehen kann (oder man liest es im Log von macOS - das könntest Du eigentlich auch machen, ob Du da eine Fehlermeldung mit URL bekommst). Wie gesagt, wenn er versucht, über https das Update herunterzuladen, streiche mal das "s" aus https...

Gibt es eine Drittanbieter Software?

Mach das ruhig auch mal (www.apple.com/feedback, ipad auswählen, siehe Screenshot). Ich bekomme denselben Fehler, also liegt es nicht an Deinem System.
Im Log steht keine URL von Apple vom manuellen Update - nur die Revocation lists. Das Log ist voll von http://www.apple.com/appleca/root.crl

Oh gute Idee, wie gesagt der Support hatte mich abgewiesen. Erledigt.

CRT kann man in der Schlüsselbundverwaltung (System / Zertifikate) nicht importieren.
Hab mal die Root Zertifikate importiert.Download: https://www.apple.com/certificateauthority/

Wobei ich auf einem aktuellen Mac auch nur com.apple.systremdefault und com.apple.kerberos.kdc habe.
