danke Euch erstmal. Werde das heute Mittag alles mal durcharbeiten. Aber ich denke, dass die Einträge von meinem alten System das Problem sein könnten (wobei es zwei Monate ohne Probleme lief).

Ich habe gerade ein neues MacBookPro eingerichtet und bekam über Etrecheck das Qualitätsmerkmal: EXCELLENT - gemeldet.
Das betraf den Rechnerstart.

Und nun mein IMac:
er bekommt nur: GOOD
Ja stimmt, er fährt relativ langsam hoch.
Gibt es von den Profis einen Hinweis, was ich ändern kann, um ihn zügiger starten zu lassen?

Die Bewertung hat nicht zu sagen.
Das ist einzig ein Hinweis, das die Erstellung des Berichtes schnell, schneller oder langsamer als erwartet ging und sagt erst einmal gar nicht über den Gesundheitszustand des Systems aus.
Bei dir ist auch beim überfliegen nicht ungewöhnliches zu erkennen.

Sah gerade in deinem Etrecheck, dass du sowohl Java als auch Flash installiert hast.
Sind diese Programme dringend notwendig oder kannst du deine Arbeiten ggf. auch ohne diese Software verrichten?

Ist nun nicht schlimm, jedoch ein potentielles Tor für Schadsoftware - bekannt für Sicherheitslücken.
Mitunter KANN dies auch die Performance auf deinem Mac beeinträchtigen.
Glaube aber solch Einbußen würden selbst die beiden Programme nicht anrichten.

vielen Dank - ja Java ist noch drauf, wieso auch immer. das habe ich gesehen.
Ich bin gerade überfragt, wofür ich das brauche.? Gibt es dazu eine KFKA?

Flashplayer hatte ich mit dem Deinstallationstool von Adobe schon mal wegputzen wollen. Und nun ist es doch noch da? oder Fragmente ... auch da die Frage:
Wie krieg ich das wirklich weg?

Früher brauchte das meine SMARTboard- Notebooksoftware. Aber die haben alles auf HTML5 umgestellt.

Neuer iMac - beim ersten Start mit einem Time Machine Backup gefüttert, das vom alten iMac ( OSX 10.6.8) mitgebracht wurde.
An sich läuft alles gut.

Hat sich gerade erledigt - ich hatte eine falsch belegte Backupplatte dran.
Da war noch ein altes Backup drauf mit 0 Byte.
Das hat sich im Papierkorb festgesetzt, den ich nicht löschen konnte.
So habe ich das überhaupt bemerkt....
Als ich die Backupplatte abgemacht habe, war auch der Papierkorb leer und 'etrecheck zeigt nix mehr an .
Nun ist sie formatiert und ein neues Backup läuft schon.
