Achja: das Baseband wird nicht überschrieben/aktualisiert mit der iphone dev Firmware :)

Laut http://www.iphoneatlas.com/ ist der iPhone Jailbreak endlich da und die Anleitung ist auch gleich mit dabei!

Dann müsste der Unlock ja erhalten bleiben, oder?

Well, the iPhone Dev Team has done it again. A working jailbreak for 1.1.3 is finally here.

This jailbreak, like the 1.1.2 jailbreak, comes as an upgrade.
This means you need to have a 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 jailbroken phone already, before you can begin.

Right now there's only a Windows iBrickr-based version of the image creator but I'm hard at work on a Mac version, so expect it soon.

Here's how you do it:
- Start with a 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 jailbroken phone with Installer.app installed.
- Plug in your phone via USB to your computer.
- Download, extract, and run iBrickr Special 1.1.3 jailbreak edition (ibrickr.exe in the archive).
- iBrickr will determine what firmware you are running on your phone and make sure you can run the update.
- iBrickr will then guide you through the process of obtaining and modifying the 1.1.3 firmware (make sure to read everything thoroughly).
- iBrickr will upload the new firmware image to your phone. Note that this only puts the file on your phone and does not modify it at all, yet.
- When iBrickr finishes (should take about 10 minutes), it will tell you to go to Installer and install the "1.1.3 soft upgrade" package. Do that.
- When the installer finishes (this should take another 10-15 minutes), your phone should reboot with a fresh activated 1.1.3 firmware.

Now you may be wondering how this jailbreak works. Here's a breakdown:

- iBrickr grabs the 1.1.3 iPhone firmware image and extracts, decrypts, and decompresses the disk image.
- Then it applies a patch, jailbreaking the disk image and activating it, and also installing Installer.app.
- It uploads this new modified image to the phone, as 113_upgrade_image.bin.
- The "1.1.3 soft upgrade" app flashes the phone with the image and reboots.
- You have a perfect, jailbroken, upgraded 1.1.3 phone, with all your settings and music intact!

Using special SIMs Will you be able to use TurboSIM/StealthSIM, etc? Since this frankenupgrade does not affect the baseband, one assumes that yes, you will be able to use these--but that's a personal guess and unconfirmed.

Und zu ibrickr und Mac-> Ach stimmt. Habe ja auch nur Mac. LOL! Da wird es wohl schwer.
 
Kann mir denn mal jemand sagen wie ich ibrickr start. Die Dateien in dem Ordner sagen mir gar nichts und die Read me noch weniger.

mit ibrickr.exe, was sonst?
Bist du sicher das du es machen willst wenn`d ned mal weißt welches Programm du starten mußt?
 
Achso.. das geht bisher nur mit PC und Windows!!!!

FINGER WEG und warten wer nen MAC hat!!
 
Ja ich bin mir schon sicher. Aber wie soll ich denn eine exe unter 10.5 starten? Ich muss ja wohl irgendwie
eine Datei umbenennen laut der Read me
 
Laut Read me:
DMG2IMG is an Apple's compressed dmg to standard (hfsplus) image disk file
convert tool.

This tool handles z-lib compressed dmg images.

USAGE:
dmg2img [-s] [-v] [-V] <input.dmg> [<output.img>]
or
dmg2img -i <input.dmg> -o <output.img>
