Problem mit WD My Book Studio und Virtual CD Manager...

Hallo,
habe nun WD My Book Studio neu. Musst sie noch mal neue formatieren.
Nun versuche ich erneut den Virtual CD Manager zu starten um Festplatte für WD SmartWare zu bereiten aber immer wenn ich diesen Starte beendet Apple diesen direkt wieder mit dieser Meldung:

Ich würde mal mein System aktualisieren. Wir sind bereits bei 10.6.6

Und dann denke nach, wozu du diesen CD Manager brauchst.
Ich vermute: zu nix.
Deinstalliere ihn und schalte nach dem Comboupdate die Time Machine ein.
Die WD muss GUID (Partitiontabelle)/ Mac OS Extended (Journaled) formatiert sein.
Aber vielleicht funktioniert der Treiber ja, nach dem System Update. Oder du schaust auf der WD Seite ob es für dieses Tool einen aktuelleren Treiber gibt. Für ein saubere Backup benötigst du es nicht.
