Hallo zusammen,

ich habe hier das iPhone 4 meiner Schwester liegen.
Leider ist ihr beim Update auf iOS 7 das Update hängen geblieben.
Ich weiß nicht welches System sie vorher hatte und ob aktuell noch ein JB vorhanden war. Es war zumindest irgendwann mal einer drauf.
Wenn es jetzt in den Restore-Modus startet und man versucht das Gerät wiederherzustellen bleibt das Update immer mit dem Fehler 40 hängen.

Die Wiederherstellung habe ich schon auf diversen PCs und Macs versucht.
Die Host-Datei ist auch sauber.
Virenscanner wurden deaktiviert.
Firewall wurde deaktiviert.

Hat irgendjemand noch eine Idee oder ist das iPhone verloren????

Wie gesagt, alles getan. Mehrfach auf verschiedenen Systemen in den verschiedensten Kombinationen.
Ist nur merkwürdig, dass das iPhone jetzt plötzlich einen Hardwaredefekt haben könnte.
Ich glaube eher, dass es ein alter Fehler in irgendeinem Jailbreak Versuch ist.
Eine alte sn0wbreeze Version soll einen solchen Fehler wohl verursacht haben.
Ich habe aber keine Ahnung wie ich das jetzt beheben könnte.

Habe wirklich die Befürchtung, dass es sich um einen Hardwaredefekt handelt.

Besorg dir ein anderes Kabel für das iPhone. Im Apple Store (oder bei einem Reseller) sollten sie das doch für dich ausprobieren.

Hallo,
ich habe nun das gleiche Problem. Ebenfalls ein iPhone 4 mit iOS 7.1.2 und Pangu Jailbreak. Es verlangt nach iTunes, lässt sich aber nicht wiederherstellen. Ebenfalls Fehler 40.
Gibt es dazu keine Lösung?
