Endlich ein Adblocker, der nicht als eigenständiger Browser oder externer Proxy daherkommt.
Die App ist einfach zu konfigurieren und tut ohne Probleme ihren Dienst.

How does it work?
Every time you visit a website, your operating system connects to multiple specific Internet locations. That includes downloading of media, text, scripts, etc. In most cases and by default all these connections are made directly. This is where Weblock comes in handy… All modern operating systems (including iOS) allow to configure how your outgoing connections will be handled using a PAC file. PAC stands for Proxy Auto Configuration and it’s a special file that tells your operating system how to connect to different Internet locations. Weblock allows you to create, manage and host such a file. Any time you attempt to connect to some Internet location matching an entry in your block list, the connection will be automatically routed through a non-existent proxy server. This makes the connection impossible, so all the undesired content get’s blocked. This gives you the possibility to block only specific parts of websites/apps, which you wouldn’t like to see. Weblock will allow you to route requests for this undesired content through non-existent proxy and keep a direct connection for everything else.

So ganz habe Ich das nicht verstanden wie diese Proxyvariante funktioniert aber es liest sich so als haben Sie wenigstens fürs WLAN eine Lücke gefunden wo sie reingrätschen können.
