wmv mit Quicktime

Ich weiß ja nicht, ob das schon allgemein bekannt ist, aber ich habe beim stöbern das hier gefunden:

Nicht gekauft, ist das Encoden auf 20 Sekunden beschränkt. Abspielen lassen sich beispielsweise .wmv im Quicktime ohne Limit (zumindest bisher ).

Zusammen mit dem neuen Divx-Player kann der Quicktime und damit Frontrow so ziemlich alles abspielen.. Ich fand's mal erwähnenswert.

Ist es besser als flip4mac ?

denn dann wäre es ne echte alternative.

naja, flip4mac gibt es ja nicht als UB - oder inzwischen doch? ich komme gut damit zurecht

Flip4Mac ist als Encoder der letzte Dreck. Wenn man da mal unter Zeitdruck ein kompaktes WMV braucht, greift man besser auf Squeeze auf'ner Windowsmaschine zurück.

Also ich hab das mal installiert - die 2.0-Version ... aber irgendwie funzt des net
Muss ich da noch was einstellen? Muss ich mich erst registrieren?
Ich habe versucht über Quicktime die .wmv zu öffnen... Dieser Film kann aber nicht abgespielt werden

Habe QuickTime Pro 7.1.1, wenn das wichtig ist...

PS: ich habe kein WindowsMediaPlayer drauf - wird der dazu benötigt?

naja, flip4mac gibt es ja nicht als UB

Habe ich entgegen meiner sonstigen Gewohnheit (Installation von Plug Ins) auch installiert.
Bisher keine Probleme.
