Hi,
dieser Test meckert deine HDD und zuwenig Arbeitsspeicher an, die aktuellen Betriebssysteme von Apple sind auf SSD's Optimiert, es wäre sinnvoll auf ne SSD umzurüsten und den Arbeitsspeicher zu Erweitern, dann läuft dein Rechner viel flotter.

Soll ich übersetzen, wo ich den identischen iMac habe, der auch echt langsam ist inzwischen?

1. HDD (Festplatte) ist der Flaschenhals. Baue eine SSD ein, der iMac ist nicht wieder zu erkennen.

2. RAM ist auch begrenzt, mehr wäre besser.

Ziffer 1. wäre aber die Lösung.

Das ist das vorgreifliche Problem.

Kein Problem. An sich ist der Aufwand, wenn man ein bisschen Geschick und Spaß hat, nicht unüberwindbar.

Aber da man auch das OS dann wider installieren muss, checke mal, ob es kündige vor Ort gibt, die für erträgliches Geld den Tausch zur SSD vornehmen.

Es gibt Reparatur/Tauschkits und Anleitungen per Video, wie man mit bestelltem Werkzeug die Scheibe ähnlich wie mit einem Pizzaroller trennt, welche Kabel man löst, es gibt zum verkleben die neuen Klebestreifen- ein wenig Technikbegeisterung wäre aber Mindestmaß.

Danke für den Rat. Ich überlege mal wie ich die Lage löse. An handwerklichen Fähigkeiten und technischem Verständnis mangelt es mir mit Sicherheit nicht. Solche Vorhaben scheitern bei mir leider meist an der zu knappen Zeit
