[10.10 Yosemite] verzögerte Eingabe am MAC

Was ich dir dringendst empfehle im Moment nichts machen ausser ein aktuelles Backup anlegen. Jetzt und nicht nicht irgendwann.
Wenn dir die Platte abraucht was sein kann, sind die Daten weg.

PRAM restet kann jeder, neuer User anlegen kann auch jeder. Da macht man nichts kaputtt.
 
Eine Volume-Überprüfung im FP DP von soeben ergab folgendes:
"Das Volume „Macintosh HD“ ist anscheinend in Ordnung."
Back-Up läuft, hat beim letzten Mal nicht geklappt..

Ein Backup läßt sich derzeit nicht erstellen (ist seit 2 Std. "in progress").
Was ist am sinnvollsten und in welcher Reihenfolge?
Erst den sicherer Systemstart ausprobieren, dann PRAM reset, SMC und dann den Apple Hardwaretest ?

Backup hat immer Priorität! Es sei denn dir ist egal was mit deinen Daten passiert.
Die 2013er iMacs sind doch schon die dünnen? Da wirst du beim Festplattentausch keine Freude haben.
Ich an deiner Stelle würde nach dem Backup und dem Hardwaretest die Festplatte von einem Service Provider wechseln lassen.

Nun will auch noch der Finder in seiner Extra-Meldung Änderungen vornehmen und verlangt die Eingabe des Passwortes. Diese Meldung ist mir bislang noch nie untergekommen. Alles seltsam.
 
Was bedeutete denn klappt nicht? Wenn dir die Daten seit dem 18.03. egal sind. Wie gesagt sind deine Daten, wir wissen nicht was es ist und um ehrlich zu sein ist es auch nicht relevant.
 
1. BackUp:

Was mir Sorgen macht, ist dass die externe Festplatte, auf der ich meine BackUps erstellt habe, lt. Ehre Check zu klein sein soll. Hab also die alten BackUps gelöscht, um mehr Platz zu haben und nur das letzt vom 11.3. behalten. Aktuelles BackUp läuft, läßt aber auf sich warten. Bin mal gespannt, ob's klappt.

Kann ich Apple Diagnostics / den Apple Hardware Test verwenden, auch wenn das aktuelle BackUp noch nicht abgeschlossen ist - nicht möglich ist?

Das ist eine sterbende Festplatte.
Und alte Backups sollte man in der Timemachine nicht manuell löschen. Das macht Timemachine, wenn der Platz zu klein wird selber.

Edit: zu langsam, aber wir sind uns einig.

Kein Grund zur Sorge, da spuckt EtreCheck nur eine Art Apple-Regel aus: daß die für das Time-Machine-Backup verwendete Platte doppelt so groß sein soll wie die zu sichernde(n) Platte(n).
