SPSS Datei per mail - funktioniert nicht!

Hi Leute,

wollte heute eine SPSS Datei (sav) über Mail verschicken, jedoch hat sich Mail beendet als ich die Datei als Anhang hinzufügen wollte. Das selbe ist passiert als ich direkt über meinen Emailaccount die Datei verschicken wollte, da hat sich Safari verabschiedet.

Kann mir vielleicht jemand weiterhelfen bzw. sagen woran das liegen könnte.

Wie groß ist die Datei? Kannst Du die Datei im Finder normal kopieren? Hast Du schon versucht sie voher zu zippen? Welches Betriebssystem setzt Du ein?

Die Datei ist eigentlich relativ klein (196 kb). Kann sie auch im Finder ganz normal kopieren. Mein Betriebssystem ist (Mac OS X 10.4.11).

Leider nicht im erhofften Maße.

Hast Du schon versucht die neu erstellte Kopie der Datei zu attachen? Nur für den Fall, daß Dein Filesystem eine Beschädigung erlitten hätte.

Es beendet mir einfach immer Mail wenn ich die Datei als Anlage hinzufügen will....

Einfach eigenartig. Scheint so als ob ichs einfach nicht per mail verschicken könnte. Ärgerlich!

Ist das Problem inzwischen gelöst? Ich bin auch betroffen!

Ich kann keine SPSS-Dateien (Dateiendung .sav) über Dialogfenster auswählen. Dies führt zum Einfrieren und Anstürzen des jeweiligen Programms (Safari, iCab, Camino, FireFox, Mail).

Problem Description: I am using SPSS 16.0 for Mac. When I use my Mac to compose an email from within a web browser (such as Yahoo.com) and then try to attach an SPSS data file, it immediately crashes my browser. I have tried two browsers (Safari, Firefox) on my Mac and received the same result. This problem only occurs with SPSS attachments (not with Excel, Word, Ppt, PDF, etc. attachments). If I use the same site on a Windows machine PC, I can attach the SPSS file and send it out without it crashing.

I could send SPSS files as attachments without incident before I installed SPSS 16.0.

What is wrong?
