[10.6 Snow Leopard] seit gestern verhält sich mein MAC wie ein PC :-(

ich habe seit gestern bei meinem MAC ein großes Problem. Er friert ein, ich kann keine Programme mehr starten und die Tastatur nimmt keine Angaben mehr an. Bestehende Programme laufen aber weiter und ich kann mit der Maus arbeiten.

Ich habe gestern das "Total Immersions D'Fusion Plugin" installiert, und ich habe den Eindruck, dass seitdem der Fehler auftritt. In der Konsole habe ich folgende Fehlermeldungen (eine Auswahl):

Die Standardmassnahmen (Rechte reparieren / VRAM Reset / SCM Reset habe ich alle durchgeführt.

Entschuldige, aber wenn du ohnehin vermutest, dass das neue Plugin den Ärger verursacht, warum deinstallierst du es nicht wieder?

Starte doch im Safe Mode – dabei hältst du die Shift-Taste (⇑) bis der Balken erscheint.
Im sicheren Modus wird das Verzeichnis überprüft, einige Reparaturen vorgenommen, aber sämtliche Fremd.kext und die Anmeldeobjekte ausgeschaltet.
Der Mac startet nur mit den aller nötigsten Kernel-Erweiterungen, deshalb dauert der Start auch etwas länger als normal.

Tritt jetzt der Fehler nicht auf, dann liegt die Ursache entweder in /Library oder in ~/Library (die Library im User-Ordner).
Dann schaust du in alle Ordner mit Launch, und Plugin – wenn du nicht gleich auf den Störenfried nicht gleich erkennst, musst du alle Files auf den Schreibtisch ziehen und peu à peu wieder in die richtigen Ordner legen, dazwischen ab- und wieder anmelden und beobachten, wann der Fehler wieder auftritt.
Was du als "Standardmaßnahmen" bezeichnest, ist in den meisten Fällen nur bedingt wirksam und dient sehr oft nur zur Beruhigung der Nerven.
Das Log.Buch kann ich leider nicht entschlüsseln, ist mir zu lang und verwirrend.

Hallo Salome, vielen Dank für den Tipp, aber das kannte ich alles nicht, bin (leider) eher Anwender als Pro. Ich probiere das mit dem sicheren Modus gerade aus und ich werde das Plugin gleich mal suchen gehen....

Ich hoffe die Sache erledigt sich damit.

Das Plugin findest Du auf deinem Mac höchstwahrscheinlich im Programme Ordner.
Ansonsten lässt sich so etwas auch hervorragend mit der Free- Software "App Cleaner" finden und löschen

Ich glaube nicht, dass das Plug-in im Programmordner liegt, wenn es den tatsächlich ein Plugin ist. aber man müsste wissen, zu welchem Programm es gehört. In den Librarys (/Library oder ~/Library) liegen Plugins im Ordner Internet Plugins; oder in einem SIMBL-Ordner, oder in Application Support /Firefox/ plugins oder … Das ist ganz unterschiedlich.
ich kenne dieses Plugin nicht und kann daher nicht sagen, wo es liegen könnte. Aber mit Spotlight oder EasyFind müsste es zu finden sein, zumal der TE ja weiß, wie es heißt. Irgendein Cleaner Tool braucht er dazu nicht – das Pllugin (sieht meist aus wie ein weißer Legobaustein) zieht man nur aus dem Ordner heraus.

Google sagt, daß es wohl was mit einem Spiel und dem Flash Player zu tun hat.
Da kommen auch Unterverzeichnisse in /Library und ~/Library (oder en dortigen Application-Support-Unterordnern) in Frage, die den Namen des Spiels tragen oder den des Spieleherstellers oder auch einfach Adobe.
Hast du das Plugin einfach per Doppelklick auf einen Installer installiert oder musstest du irgendwas manuell einstellen? Gab es eine Readme-Datei, in der vielleicht irgendwas stand zu den Voraussetzungen und Einschränkungen?
Da in der Broschüre (http://www.t-immersion.com/lc-content/uploads/2010/09/datasheethomev2-final.pdf) auch Browser erwähnt sind, könnte das Plugin auch irgendwo in einem Verzeichnis mit dem Browsernamen liegen.
Auch nachschauen solltst du in /System/Libraries/Extensions und /Library/Extensions (vor allem wenn bei einem sicheren Systemstart keine Probleme auftreten), so ein Plugin könnte auch eine Kernel Extension installiert haben.
Wobei wir jetzt natürlich alle immer davon ausgehen, daß es an dieser Erweiterung liegt oder an einer Unverträglichkeit dieser Erweiterung mit irgednwas anderem, was installiert ist.
Kannst du das Plugin vielleicht am einfachsten über eine Deinstallationsroutine im Installer entfernen und testen, ob das Problem dann gelöst ist? Wenn dem Diskimage kein Deinstallationsprogramm beiliegt, hilft es oft, das installationsprogramm nochmal zu starten - da wird dann oft eine Möglichkeit zur Deinstallation angeboten.
