Safari stürzt oft ab - EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION

Hi,
also mein Safari nerft mich in letzter Zeit tierisch – also, um genau zu sein, seit gestern.
Auf bestimmten Seiten beendet er sich immer von selbst. Das sind jetzt auch nicht unbedingt exotische Seiten, sondern z.B. bei Ebay.
Bis vor kurzem hatte ich noch SAFT installiert, das hab ich gestern mal entfernt, da ich dachte es läge daran – aber ohne Erfolg.

Ein weiterer kleiner Test:
Da ich auf Google desöfteren bei ähnlichen Fehlern etwas im Zusammenhang mit JAVA gelesen hab … hab ich JAVA und JAVA-Script mal deaktiviert.
Fazit: nun stürzt er auch schon bei der "Mein EBay"-Seite ab.

Ich trau mich garnicht mehr mit Safari zu surfen, weil ich auf jeder Seite Angst haben muss, dass er abschmiert
Firefox wäre ne Notlösung – aber eigentlich will ich schon, dass mein Safari wieder geht.

Ach ja, System: 10.4.8 - MB 2Ghz - 2Gig Ram - alle Updates.

hast Du denn installiert? Gibt ein paar, die das System, besonders auf Intel-Macs, ziemlich instabil machen.

also mit der .plist löschen ist noch nichts getan.

und an Application Enhancers hab ich nur so nen Teil, was das Dock einfärbt. Aber des hab ich auch schon länger …

OK, das Problem ist aus der Welt … für manche die erste Maßnahme, für mich oft die Letzte … ein Neustart – seltsam, dass es manchmal an so einfachen Dingen liegt :/ … tja, alle meine geöffneten Dateien, Programme und meine Uptime ist jetzt auch wieder weg … dafür funzt der Safari wieder

gerade bei safari sind es manchmal die ganz einfachen dinge, die einen weiter bringen.
ich muß mein safari regelmäßig (wenn auch nicht übermäßig häufig) einfach mal schließen und neu starten, damit es wieder flüssig läuft.

Ich bin ja kein Programmierer, aber war da nicht irgendwas mit einem "memory Leak", welches Safari seit vielen Versionen hat und dazu führt, dass Safari, je länger es läuft, den Speicher zumüllt? Meine, irgendwo sowas gelesen zu haben...(?)

da bist Du sogar weiter als ich mit den infos. kann durchaus sein. klingt plausibel.

ich hatte lange zeit massive probleme mit version 1.2 für 10.3.9. updaten auf 1.3 konnte ich damals nicht, da wurd emir ständig das web.kit zerschossen und ich konnte in mein lesezeichen nich tmehr rein. abstürze waren die folge.
so mußte ich mit 1.2 vorliebnehmen. durch eine systemneuinstallation (aus anderen gründen) konnte ich dann safari 1.3 korrekt udn fehlerfrei installieren. ich tippe, daß hing mit irgendwelchen javaupdates zusammen.
