[10.9 Mavericks] Neuen Benutzer anlegen dauert Stunden

Hi,

ich habe hier gerade einen iMac bei welchem ich einen neuen Benutzer (Admin) angelegt habe.

Mittlerweile dauert der Vorgang aber schon eine Stunde, was ich für sehr unnormal halte.
Klar ist die Hardware nicht die schnellste und die Software nicht die aktuellste, eine Stunde (oder wie lange es noch dauern wird) um einen Benutzer anzulegen halte ich aber für viel zu lange!

In der Aktivitätsanzeige gibt es 3 Prozesse zum neuen Benutzer welche sich aber auch nicht wirklich bewegen.

Ich sehe auch nirgends einen Fortschritt.
Bemerkbar macht es sich nur dadurch dass ich die Systemeinstellungen nicht schließen kann, da dann immer die Meldung kommt dass gerade ein Benutzer angelegt wird.

Gibt es irgendwelche Infos und Tricks dazu?
Die Suche und Google haben mir nicht wirklich weitergeholfen.

Hat deine Festplatte ggf. ein Problem?

Du könntest ein EtreCheck-Log erstellen und hier posten. Mit EtreCheck kannst du auch die SMART-Parameter der Platte auslesen und hier posten. Dann wissen wir mehr.

EDIT: Die Frage habe ich mir zunächst verkniffen, aber nun muss sie trotzdem heraus: Warum betreibst du ein nicht mehr mit Sicherheitsupdates versorgtes Betriebssystem?

Mein geliebtes MacBook muss in Reparatur und auf die Schnelle habe ich diesen älteren iMac eines Bekannten.
Grundsätzlich würden eventuelle Updates usw. noch auf dem Plan stehen. Ich wollte nur erst einmal einen Benutzer anlegen ..

Das sieht alles gut aus. Installiert sind allerdings Custom-Lüfertsteuerungen, die ich für riskant halte. Vermutlich sind sie hier aber nötig, weil der Temperatursensor mit dem Plattentausch flöten ging. Achte darauf, dass die Lüfter genug kühlen, denn sonst wird die CPU heruntergetaktet oder gar beschädigt.

Darüber hinaus sehe ich leider keine echten Ansatzpunkte. Vielleicht ist noch etwas mit den Benutzerrechten nicht in Ordnung. Reparatur gibt es im Festplattendienstprogramm.
