So...Update funktioniert nicht - erforderliche Version fehlt. Gäääähn...na grandios. Dann lass ich es. Jetzt alles neu zu installieren (wie ich hier herausgelesen habe, dass es der einzige Weg ist, das zu lösen) liegt nun wirklich nicht in meinem Interesse...

Also ich habe nix neu installiert. Hatte vorher 12.2.3 - 12.2.4 kam dann über die Update-Funktion.

Ja...so hätte ich mir das auch gewünscht. Ich kriege aber die weit verbreitete und bekannte Fehlermeldung, dass eine Version, die zur Installation des Updates notwendig wäre, nicht auf meinem Rechner gefunden wurde. Danach kann man nur noch abbrechen - also kann das Update nicht installiert werden. Abhilfe schafft nur eine komplette Neuinstallation von Office.

Ich hab 12.2.3, alles in Deutsch und schrittweise installiert...
Ist auch egal, nur für irgendwelchen Securityquatsch mache ich mir keine Arbeit.

Hallo,

habe gestern Abend das Update installiert.
Mit dem Ergebnis:

Power Point: "wurde unerwartet beendet"
Word: "Microsoft Word muss wegen eines Problems beendet werden. Wir entschuldigen uns für etwaige Unannehmlichkeiten."

Kann ich das Update wieder deinstallieren?

IMHO nicht, nur eine komplette Deinstallation und Neuinstallation würde das bewirken.
Hast du ein Backup / TimeMachine? Dann spiel die alte Version wieder zurück...

A: weil du es dem Screenshot nach auf der Windows Partition installieren willst.
B: die Glaskugel ist in Reparatur. Mehr Infos wären schon sehr hilfreich.

Ist 12.2.3 das richtige Update für dich? Oder hast du das bereits installiert und willst eigentlich 12.2.4 installieren?
Übliche Verdächtige: Office Ordner in Programme umbenannt, verschoben, etc?
Falsches Update (Sprache!) geladen?
Andere Programme parallel zum Updateprozess geöffnet und am Laufen?
Mac schon mal neu gestartet, und dann NICHTS ausser den üblichen Systemprozessen und dem Update gestartet?

War bei mir auch so, Bootcamp partition war vorgewählt und Mac HD grau hinterlegt. Ich konnte jedoch einfach Macintosh HD anklicken und es lies sich problemlos installieren.

So ein Quatsch... Die Macintosh HD war grau hinterlegt. Daher konnte ich sie gar nicht auswählen!

Ich habe Office '08 noch nie ge-uptdated seit ich es von der Original CD installiert habe. Ist also 12.0.0

Was meinst du damit genau? 'In Programme unbenannt'? Kann dir nicht ganz folgen...

Es ist ganz sicher das Deutsche Update von 12.2.4.
Hab schon des öfteren auch neu gestartet und dann ausschließlich das Setup versucht durchzuführen.
Wieso muss Microsoft mich auch noch in der OS X Welt quälen? :mad:

die version passt nicht. office starten und unter about gucken was installiert ist.
wenn es 12.0.0 ist dann eben jedes update einzeln step by step bis 12.2.4 ... yep so ist das bei microsoft :(

Wenn du es noch nie geupdatet hast, musst du die Updates 12.1.0 (SP1), 12.2.0 (SP2), 12.2.3 und erst dann 12.2.4 installieren.

Und zwar genau in der Reihenfolge!

Das mag stimmen, aber auch unter Windows musstest du ein SP nach dem anderen installieren. Comboupdates gibt es leider nicht von MS...
