Macbook nach Leopard-Installation: Random Freezes auf der Spur

Hallo,

das ist jetzt vermutlich sehr allgemein gefasst, aber: Ich habe meinem Macbook (weiß, C2D, ca. 2 Jahre alt) am Wochenende ein Update auf Leopard (10.5.7) angedeihen lassen. Seitdem überrascht es mich gerne wieder mit plötzlichem Einfrieren aller Programme, teils in Zusammenhang mit Standby/Ruhezustand, aus dem es nicht aufwacht, teils auch scheinbar völlig zufällig. Zu lösen nur durch gewaltsames Ausschalten.

Subjektiv besonders oft, seit ich neben Safari wieder einen Firefox in Betrieb habe, aber beschwören kann ich den Zusammenhang nicht.

Deswegen jetzt der Schuss ins Blaue: Gibt es irgendwelche Logfiles, die dabei helfen könnten, der Ursache auf die Spur zu kommen? Wo und wonach kann ich suchen?

Oder bleibt am Schluss nur ein "never change a (weitgehend-)running system"? Bin für jede Idee dankbar.

Es gibt Logfiles, allerdings weiß ich nicht wo, google mal.
Zur Not hilft bei Software Probleme eine Neuinstallation.
Falls du dies gedenkst zu tun Installiere keine Software sonder erst alle Updates.

logfiles findest du unter programme/dienstprogramme/konsole.app
du könntest auch noch mal das combo-update drüber-installieren, von dvd starten und die rechte reparieren, vielleicht hilft's..

aber vielleicht kann dir hier ja auch noch jemand an hand der logfiles helfen

(Zur Klarstellung, weil etwas unklar formuliert: Ich habe vor einigen Tagen auf einem frisch formatierten Volume erst Leopard installiert und aktualisiert, und dann anschließend weitere Software installiert.)

entweder wie andi*h sagte mal versuchen zu reparieren, oder neuinstallation

Hm …*fragliche Parts hier abkippen? Oder gibt es dafür einen geeigneteren Platz?

hast du das alles direkt hintereinander gemacht oder könntest du evtl. sagen, ab wann die probleme angefangen haben? aber wurscht, poste am besten erstmal die logfiles..

und ja, einfach hier posten (bestenfalls über die "code einfügen" option).

Hi, ich habe bisher leider keine Crash-Zeiten notiert, um es nachvollziehen zu können - hier folgt jetzt mal ein Ausschnitt der letzten Stunden, der wieder mit einem Freeze endete. Vielleicht ergibt sich daraus was, wonach ich das restliche Log durchsuchen könnte?

ich habe ziemlich genau das gleiche Problem wie ralf,
mein mac book pro friert unregelmäßig ein...

ich bin mittlerweile soweit das ich den bug auf mozilla thunderbird / firefox eingekreist habe.

vllt. hat ja noch jemand das gleiche problem und evtl. schon eine lösung dafür?!
