Hallo zusammen,

ich habe ein Problem: mein System startet langsamer als sonst. Außerdem dauert es allein 22 Sek., bis das Macbook aus ist! Es dreht sich beim Herunterfahren ein Rad (nicht der Ball, sondern die rotierenden "Striche", wie bei einer Uhr). Dieses Rad kommt auch beim Hochfahren.

Die "Probleme" treten seit dem Update auf Mountain Lion auf (hatte bis vor Kurzem noch Snow Leopard laufen). Ich weiß, dass es schlimmeres gibt als einen System-Neustart von 54 sek.Ich hätte aber trotzdem gerne, dass das System wieder so schnell läuft wie mit Snow Leopard. Habe Mountain Lion nicht "frisch" installiert sondern das Update drübergespielt.

Bereits durchgeführt:
- Zugriffsrechte repariert (hier gab es einige Fehlermeldungen, die aber laut Diagnosetool behoben werden konnten)
- PRAM Reset
- Autostart ist bis auf BTT leer (Außer der Epson Low-Ink Reminder, der ist transparent und kann nicht entfernt werden)
- Macintosh HD als Startvolume ausgewählt

Ich kann damit nicht viel anfangen, aber das Wort "failed" klingt nicht gut und kommt häufig vor...

Poste mal das Ergebnis von EtreCheck, dann sieht man welche Programme gestartet werden. Bei einem Verbose-Boot (cmd+V beim Booten drücken) siehst du außerdem beim Starten und Herunterfahren, wo der Mac gerade hängt.

Du kannst auch noch mal das aktuelle Combo-Update installieren und einen Safe-Boot machen. Das könnte dein Problem eventuell schon beheben, muss es aber nicht.
 
Auf jeden Fall bremst das PenCommService - du wirst wissen zu welchem Programm das gehört. Vermutich ist es mit ML nicht kompatibel oder du musst aktualisieren. Ich würde das dazugehörende Programm ordnungsgemäß (mit einem Uninstaller, falls es nicht mit Drag & Drop installiert worden ist) deinstallieren.

Natürlich bremst auch diese Back to my Mac-Funktion, sie muss sich ja erst mit dem Internet verbinden. Wenn du das nicht dauernd benötigst, schalte es ab. Kannst auch nachsehen, ob eine alter Druckauftrag hängen geblieben ist.

Hast du den Gast Account aktiviert? Schalte ihn ab. Auch Spotify macht Probleme: deinstallieren, wenn du das brauchst: Neu Installation. Immer auf der Website nachsehen, wie solche Programme zu entfernen sind!

Schau Mal ob du in iTunes alles eingestellt hast, wie es dir passt. Wenn du Automatische Synchronisierung der Geräte aktiviert hast, dann werden die Geräte beim Start gesucht. Wenn sie dann nicht angehängt sind …

Wenn du das alles erledigt hast, startest du im Safe Mode. Und danach wieder normal.
Dann werden wir sehen, was ich alles an Fehlern übersehenen habe.

EtreCheck einzusetzen und die Ergebnisse zu posten ist auch eine gute Idee. Tu das.

Im übrigen musst du ja den Mac nicht dauernd abdrehen (wozu hast du dann Back to my Mac aktiviert?), lass ihn einfach in den Ruhezustand gehen.

Habe alles gemacht was ihr geschrieben habt. Gast-Acc deaktiviert, iTunes eingestellt, Combo-Update, Safe-Mode, EtreCheck. Spotify habe ich so, wie es in der Deinstall-Anleitung steht, deinstalliert. Scheinbar reicht das noch nicht. Wo könnten denn weitere Dateien liegen? Habe durch EtreCheck schon den Ordner LaunchAgent von der PenCommService-Datei befreit. Der Mac fährt jetzt auch wieder schnell runter!

Das mit dem Spotify wäre aber trotzdem gut zu wissen, vielleicht kann man ja die Bootzeit etwas verkürzen.

Sonst sehe ich nicht wirklich Gröberes. Vielleicht jemand anderer, der sich besser ist im Logs-lesen

NTFS driver 3.10 [Flags: R/W] ist dieser Treiber aktuell.

Du startest beide Systeme auf einmal? Das dauert auf jeden Fall. Kannst du nicht die Bootcamp Partition vom Start ausschließen. (Ich kenn' mich da nicht aus, brauche kein Windows).

Die Warnmeldungen bedeuten meistens nichts Böses. Du kannst aber in Systemeinstellungen / Spotlight öffnen und für immer Bootcamp ausschließen oder die gesamte Festplatte in die Privatsphäre ziehen. Danach noch mal im SAfe Mode starten (damit der Cache geleert wird). Nach dem Neustart die HD wieder aus der Privatsphäre holen. Jetzt beginnt Spotlight neu zu indizieren, das dauert je nach Datenumfang eine ganze Weile. Du siehst es am Punkt in der Lupe.

Ist metascope ein Suchprogramm? Die Warnmeldung sagt: das irgendwas nicht registriert ist (könnte auch heißen, dass das Programm nicht weiß, wo es die gefundenen Items hinlegen soll). Ich phantasiere jetzt, weil ich keine Ahnung habe.

Sowohl in dem Ordner ~/Library/Launch Agents, als auch in dem Ordner System/Library/Launch Agents liegen keine Dateien mit diesem Namen. Ich finde die com.spotify.webhelper.plist Datei nicht :-(


Kann ich den Launch Daemons Ordner komplett leeren (adobe.fpsaud und office.licensing.helper) oder sind die Dateien beim Start wichtig?

Kann ich den iTunesHelper aus den User LoginItems entfernen, ohne dass Probleme verursacht werden?


Habe die Bootcamp-Partition deaktiviert, Parallels startet trotzdem normal. In den Spotlight-Einstellungen taucht Bootcamp nicht auf. Das liegt wahrscheinlich an der vorherigen Deaktivierung.

NTFS-Driver: Wie kann ich das überprüfen?

metascope: Keine Ahnung was das ist, um ehrlich zu sein. Spotlight findet dazu auch nichts.
 
Komisch. EtreCheck findet sie aber:

Also ich hätte Skrupel vor allem den office.licensing.helper zu entfernen. Der hat wohl etwas mit der Lizenz zu tun. Womöglich startet dann Office nicht mehr. Aber die spotify.plist ist in Launch Agents.
Wie du den NTFS Driver auf Aktualität überprüfen kannst, weiß ich nicht. Brauche kein Windows.
Dann lass das metascope in Frieden, war ohnehin nur eine Warnung. Die könnte nach einem Start im Safe Mode verschwinden.

~ steht für deinen Benutzerordner. Die Benutzerlibrary ist bei dir wahrscheinlich ausgeblendet, du öffnest sie im Finder über einen alt+Klick auf Gehe zu in der Menüleiste.

Ups. Ich dachte, das ~ steht für die HD. Habs gefunden und gelöscht.

Ich denke, den Rest lasse ich so laufen. Der langsame Shutdown ist ja kein Thema mehr und ob das Hochfahren jetzt 10 sek. länger als mit SnowLeopard dauert... so kleinlich will ich dann auch nicht sein :-)
