[10.6 Snow Leopard] Hilfe: Kann kein DMG mehr mounten !

Habe ein ca. 28 GB greosses DMG via Festplattendienstprogramm von meiner (damaligen) internen Festplatt erstellt. Nun habe ich diese als externe angeschlossen und will es wieder mounten - keine Chance, immer Fehlermeldung.

Probiert habe ich es mit:
Disk Utility (sowohl "Restore" als auch "Mount")

Ein Check via Terminal mit "hdiutil verify_diskimage.dmg' ergibt:

Du hast es mittels Festplattendienstprogramm erstellt, dann solltest Du es auch mit mittels Festplattendienstprogramm wiederherstellen.

Tja, das habe ich doch schon mehrfach versucht - auch ein Restore auf eine andere externe, freie Platte (1,5 TB) geht nicht ... - was genau muss ich den machen, damit es funktioniert?

hm, also ich habe von DVD gebootet, dann das Image einfach auf der externen HD erzeugt (glaube ich zumindest es war so)
