Festplatte wird nicht leer?

Hallo zusammen
Der Speicher auf meine Festplatte reicht nicht mehr aus. Ich habe jetzt verschiedene Programme und einen großen Teil überschüssige Dateien gelöscht. Dennoch hat es in der Anzeige im Festplatten Dienstprogramm keinen Einfluss auf die Größe des freien Speicherplatzes.
Im Gegenteil jedes Mal wenn ich das Festplatten Dienstprogramm noch eine Teil Löschung von Daten aufgerufen hatte wurde mir weniger freier Speicherplatz angezeigt. Ich lade mal den aktuellsten entreReport hoch. Leider komme ich jedoch selber hier nicht weiter.

Das ist seit macOS 10.13 normal. Im Normalbetrieb wird der Speicherplatz erst nach 24 Stunden freigegeben, und zwar wenn Time Machine stündlich eine Bereinigung des Systems durchführt.

Der Speicher wird automatisch auch früher freigegeben, falls das System von sich aus Speichermangel erkennt. Das geschieht allerdings oft mit Verzögerung. Als Abhilfe kann man von Hand APFS-Schnappschüsse auf dem betroffenen Volume entfernen, falls man diese nicht braucht.

Und natürlich auf dem gesamten Mac suchen, nicht nur im Benutzerordner.

Hach, das Problem "wo ist mein Mac-Plattenplatz hin" ist wirklich ein Dauerbrenner.
Ich war vor ein paar Monaten kurz davor einen neuen Rechner zu kaufen, es halfen all die üblichen Tricks nicht, denn das Problem lag ganz woanders: Ich hatte - offenbar schon seit langer Zeit - einen TimeMachine Snapshot, der automatisch nicht weggeräumt werden konnte, was dann dazu führte, dass die "Platte" langsam voll lief. Am Ende half eine lange Sitzung mit Chat GPT, dabei etliche Iterationen, bis ich schließlich im Maintenance-Mode manuell diesen Snapshot löschen konnte. Die tiefere Ursache war offenbar eine beschädigte Snapshot-DB. Das sind so die Momente, wo man Apple richtig hassen kann, denn den Kram zu debuggen ist halt so richtig gemein...
