Airport Extreme- Chello(Österreich)- PC+Mac

Hi,

Mein Internet-Provider ist Chello und jetzt habe ich mir gerade ein Macbook plus Airport Extreme gekauft.

Nun meine Frage:

Ich möchte sowohl mit meinem alten PC (über Ethernet-Kabel) als auch dem Macbook (WLAN)- mittels chello classic - ins Internet und bin nun etwas verwirrt ob das mit dem Airport Extreme alleine möglich ist oder ich einen anderen Router dazwischen schalten muss?

Ist das Airport Extreme auch ein Router der zwei PC gleichzeitig ins Netz bringt oder was bräuchte ich zusätzlich noch?

Hoffe es findet sich jemand der mir helfen kann!

Airport Extreme kann als Router arbeiten und WLAN und Ethernet-Anschlüsse können nebeneinander genutzt werden.

Internet connection among several computers in the following ways:

Set up the AirPort Extreme Base Station to act as a router and provide Internet
Protocol (IP) addresses to computers on the network using Dynamic Host
Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Network Address Translation (NAT). When the
base station is connected to a DSL or cable modem that’s connected to the Internet,
the base station receives webpages and Internet and email content from the Internet
via its Internet connection, and then sends it to wireless-enabled computers, using
the wireless network, or using Ethernet if there are computers connected to the
Ethernet ports.

Set up the AirPort Extreme Base Station or AirPort Express to act as a bridge on
an existing network that already has Internet access and a router providing IP
addresses. The base station passes IP addresses and the Internet connection to

Es gibt allerdings auch Preiswertere Lösungen als die Extreme.

Stationen, die wie Airport Extreme auch im 5 GHz-Bereich funken können, gibt es aber noch nicht so häufig.
