(Falls hier jemand anders mitliest und das gleiche Problem hat, darf er diesen Befehl nicht verwenden. Der funktioniert nur für diesen einzelnen Benutzer auf genau diesem Rechner, nirgendwo sonst.)

Jetzt hab ichs versucht und sowohl vom defekten als auch vom Administratoren Account aus den Befehl eingegeben.
Leider hats nicht geholfen. Scheint ein gröberes Problem zu sein.

Nach Eingabe des Befehls steht im Terminal password. Das habe ich nicht eingegeben und gleich neu gestartet. Richtig?

Das Passwort musst du schon eingeben, denn sonst wird der Befehl nicht ausgeführt, das passwort musst du "blind" eingeben, d.h. es werden auch keine Platzhalter angezeigt.

was soll nun das schon wieder? ich habe das korrekte passwort eingegeben. habe das passwort auch schon zurückgesetzt. gem. 1. vorschlag von ottomane, ganz zuoberst in diesem thread.

Noch zur Frage, ob ich Onyx oder sonst was installiert habe:
- onyx habe ich nicht installiert
- wenn ich aber im Finder nach "onyx" suche und im suchfenster einzugeben versuche, dann bricht der Finder gleich bei der Eingabe von "o" schon ab, ich kann nicht mal onyx fertig schreiben. abbrechen heisst hier, das fenster wird automatisch geschlossen. kurz wird der ganze schreibtisch ausgeblendet, erscheint dann aber nach 5 sekunden wieder.

der User Karin ist kein Administrator / sudoer und kann daher keine Befehle mit sudo ausführen.

karin is not in the sudoers file.

Da hilft es nicht das Passwort zurückzusetzen sondern der User muss kurzzeitig als Administrator aufgenommen werden.
Danach den Befehl

Falls dieser Benutzer Administrator ist, kann er diesen Ordner wie folgt löschen, wodurch er von OS X wieder repariert neu aufgebaut wird:

cd `getconf DARWIN_USER_TEMP_DIR`/.. ; sudo rm -Rf T

Der Computer sollte danach sofort neu gestartet werden. WARNUNG: Der obige Befehl enthält Sonderzeichen, die schwierig zu tippen sein können. Bitte nur mit Copy/Paste einfügen.

Ich fürchte allerdings, wenn dieser Ordner verstellt wurde könnte noch mehr verstellt sein.

Die Alternative funktioniert natürlich auch nur wenn Du als Admin / sudoer angemeldet bist und nicht als 'regulärer' User. der Unterschied hier ist das Du karin nicht (kurzzeitig) zum Admin / sudoer machen musst sondern einen existierenden Admin / sudoer nehmen kannst.

Offenbar gab es hier ein Missverständnis mit der Verneinung von "wenn dieser Benutzer nicht Administrator ist, …".

Du hast verstanden: "… dann kann dieser Benutzer einen anderen Befehl eingeben".

Gemeint war aber: "… dann kann ein Administrator einen anderen Befehl eingeben".

Also: Die Benutzerin karin hat kein Recht, diesen Befehl einzugeben. Das muss ein Administrator machen.

Hast du schon mal EtreCheck laufen lassen, von diesem Account aus? Das Programm sammelt viele systemrelevante Informationen, vor allem was so an Zusatzsoftware installiert ist, die vielleicht inkompatibel ist oder veraltet. Eine weitere Möglichkeit wäre ein Blick in die Konsole (zu finden in den Dienstprogrammen), starten, bevor du eines dieser lahm startenden Programm startest, da könnten Einträge von den LaunchDaemons oder Launchagents auftauchen, die das Starten verzögern (weil sie z.B. ins Leere laufen).

Hast du's mal mit einem großen O versucht? (nur zum Spaß)

Die Suchfunktion geht nach der Reparatur der Rechte wieder.

Habe jetzt den Check laufen lassen. Da gibts schon noch so ein paar Programme die beim Starten und auch sonst im Betrieb ein Hemmschuh sein werden. Die Frage ist: wie lösche ich die raus? Manuell suchen und einfach löschen?

Das EC-Protokoll kann man per copy & past einfügen, bitte zwischen Code-Tags, das ist leichter zu lesen, und nicht jeder lädt gern unbekannte Dateien auf seinen Rechner.
Der Pfad zu zu löschenden Objekten wird ja angegeben, allerdings heißt das natürlich nicht, daß sie restlos entfernt wurden - nur daß sie dann nicht mehr bremsen (bei Funktionen, die per launchd aufgerufen werden, reicht es an sich, den Eintrag in den LaunchAgents- bzw. LaunchDaemon-Verzeichnisen zu entfernen, dann liegt der Rest, in diesem Fall das eigentliche Programm, halt nutzlos rum). Wie sie restlos deinstalliert werden, kommt auf den Einzelfall an. Sofern sie per Installier installiert wurden, sollte ein Deinstaller dabei gewesen sein oder eine Routine im Installier, ansonsten reicht es im Allgemeinen, sie in den Papierkorb zu schieben.
Was jeweils notwendig ist an diesen Programmen, musst du natürlich selbst beurteilen.


Edit: Bei den Plug-ins und 3rd party Preference Panels solltest du mal schauen, ob die überhaupt noch laufen oder ob es nicht neuere gibt, da sind einige vom Stand von 2006, das wäre recht unwahrscheinlich, daß die unter deinem aktuellen System noch nützlich sind.
