Wenn Du einen Clean Install machen willst, vom Stick booten, dann im Festplatten Dienstprogramm unter Darstellung alle Laufwerke einblenden, Deine verbaute SSD anklicken, löschen mit Format APFS.
Dann macOS neu installieren.

Du hast vorher nichts gelöscht sondern einfach nur drüber installiert. Daher ist auch alles wie vorher.

Du musst die Festplatte vorher natürlich mit dem Festplattendienstprogramm löschen und anschließend macOS neu installieren.

Mein Start in die Mac-Welt gestaltet sich leider schwierig. Vom Stick gestartet, Neuinstallation ausgewählt, er hat jetzt ca. 30 Minuten gemacht und das System ist auf dem gleichen Stand wie vorher, also keine Neuinstallation wie gewünscht. Was habe ich denn da wieder übersehen?

Wohl nur darüber installiert - Könnte auch schon helfen. Aber wenn du wirklich neu installieren möchtest würde ich die SSD löschen.

Ich muss mich auch so langsam diesem Thread anschließen. Mein Mac Mini M1 ist manchmal quälend langsam. Manchmal dauert es eine Minute, bis er über Spotlight eine Suche vorschlägt.. Mail hängt regelmäßig, sodass ich schon nach Alternativen suche. Der Start dauert auch ewig, da war mein Windows-Rechner ca. 3x so schnell.

Anfangs hatte ich mega Spaß mit dem Gerät aber so langsam nerven mich einige Punkte doch.

Mittlerweile habe ich Chrome sogar runtergeworfen (gerade weil auch nie genutzt). Aber mal gugge was ihr so sagt. Ich bin allgemein nicht mehr von der Performance angetan.

Zu dem Verdacht, dass der Chrome-Updater problematisch ist:

Chrome Keystone hat mir gestern der EtreCheck als "Minor Issue" angezeigt. Ich schaue heute abend direkt mal nach, ob das über App Cleaner mit gelöscht wurde.

da sind jede Menge Fälle enthalten, die durch solcher Art Software die merkwürdigsten Verhalten und Fehler gezeigt haben.

Das Etrecheck wurde nicht mit vollen Rechten ausgeführt, daher fehlen einige Einträge.

Das ist normal unkritisch. Ich mein, man kann es natürlich nicht pauschal sagen. Aber beim intensiveren Beschäftigen mit Ad-Blockern ist mir nichts bekannt geworden, wo es Probleme macht.

Sicher bin ich mir nicht, aber dennoch wäre es das erste was ich löschen würde. Anscheinend sind die M1s manchmal sehr empfindlich was Netzwerkerweiterung ect angeht.

Persönlich stört es mich auch irgendwie wenn ein Adblocker Kernel- und Netzwerkerweiterungen benötigt um zu funktionieren.

Ich denke, das hat eher mit Big Sur zu tun. Mit Big Sur wurden grundlegende Änderungen in der API für Extensions eingeführt. AdGuard ist das aber laut eigener Aussage bekannt:

Bisher hat macOS Big Sur viele Kontroversen hervorgerufen: Es gibt gute Änderungen, aber auch jede Menge Kompatibilitätsprobleme. Wie wirkt sich das auf AdGuard aus?
