FCPX - Probleme beim Kürzen eines Clips

Hallo liebe Com.

Habe seit Kurzem das Problem, dass wenn ich einen Clip in der Timeline kürzen will, hängt sich das gesamte Programm auf und ich muss es mit dem "Programme sofort beenden" Shortcut schließen.

Kennt jemand zufällig die Ursache oder gar eine Lösung für das oben beschrieben Problem?

Blöde Frage: Genügend Speicherplatz ist vorhanden?

Wenn du also deinen 35 GB Clip auf 25 GB kürzen willst, sollte der Platz für temporäre Dateien auch zur Verfügung stehen.

Nutzt du Proxydataien? Externes Laufwerk?

Es handelt sich bei dem Clip um eine Screencaptering (allerdings in Windows). Mir ist allerdings aufgefallen, dass sich auch beim Kürzen des separaten Audios (Musik) FCPX immer aufhängt. Muss es immer mit dem Blade Tool und mit dem Auswahlwerkzeug löschen, ist zwar ein workaround aber nervt schon ein wenig.

@Herr Sin aktuell 843 GB freier Speicherplatz, das gesamte Video ist momentan 1 Minute lang, mit den Rohdaten mit einer Größe von 3,8 GB.
Nein die Clips wurden zuerst alle von meiner Netzwerkplatte auf mein Macbook gezogen und von dort aus werden sie importiert und geschnitten und nein ich verwende keine Proxy Daten, hat mir jemand mal empfohlen dies nicht zu erstellen, da ich auf meinem alten Macbook "nur" 512GB Speicherplatz hatte und ich die ganzen Proxydaten dann immer löschen muss (ist mir nicht bekannt wie das funktioniert).

Selbst bei den integrierten Titeln hängt sich das Programm mittlerweile total auf und ist unbenutzbar?
Glaubt ihr da hilft eine Neuinstallation? An was kann es denn sonst liegen ich mein die Hardware sollte doch ausreichend sein für ein solche 1080p 60fps Aufnahmen.

//edit Muss echt sagen es kotzt mich sehr an. Das Programm hängt sich in 10 Minuten 2-3x auf. Versuchs jetzt nach stundenlangem erneutem Öffnen und endlich mit Abschluss des Projekts das Programm nochmals neu zu installieren. Mal sehen ob das hilft.

Meine These: 1. Der Codec ist nicht für Mac optimiert. 2. Der Rechner hat beim Aufzeichnen des Bildschirms Probleme mit der Performance wegen anderen Prozessen die parallel ablaufen (spiele etc) und lässt einzelne Frames aus. Also eine Variable Framerate bzw. kaputte h264 Strukturen. Ist aber natürlich nur eine Vermutung ohne es aus der ferne beurteilen zu können.

Wenn du auf einen Clip gehst und über rechte Maustaste Medien umcodieren Optimierte Medium erstellen anwählst und danach der Clip nicht zum Absturz führt ist klar das es am Codec liegt. Wenn du danach immer noch Probleme hast wählst du die zweite Option mit den Proxidaten. Sollte danach das Programm nicht mehr auftreten liegt es an der Performance.

Über das Menü Ablage kann die Auswahl generierte Ereignisdateien löschen ausgewählt werden. So ist es möglich nach Beendigung des Projektes dessen Vorschaudaten und die Proxidaten zu löschen um Platz zu sparen für das Archivieren. Des Weiteren ist es über dieses Menü auch möglich verworfene Rendervorschaudaten Separat von den verwendeten Daten zwischenzeitlich bei bedarf zu entfernen.

Deiner erste These könnte selbstverständlich so stattfinden.

Das Problem tritt sowohl nach Umcodieren als auch mit Proxy Medien auf.

Es hängt sich aber auch schon auf, wenn ich alleine die DAUER eines von Final Cut implementierten Titels ändern möchte.
Ändern geht zwar dann über "Dauer ändern" ohne Probleme ist aber sehr unnötig, da ich eigentlich bei so teurer Hard- und Software schon solche Kleinen Dinge erwarte...

Frage zum zweiten Punkt:
Sind die dann sowohl (bei Auswahl) die Proxy Medien als auch die umcodierten sofort gelöscht oder muss dort noch etwas stattfinden?

Daten die zum löschen frei gegeben werden sind danach gelöscht. Eventuell noch den Mülleimer leeren. Um auch wirklich allen Platz frei zu geben.

Welche Hardware hast du zur Verfügung?
Was passiert wenn du unter Ablage und dann neue Mediathek erstellst. Danach in der linken Spalte auf die alte Mediathek klickst und mit rechter Maustaste schließen. Danach ein Bild in die neue Mediathek importieren und danach in das neue Ereignis ziehen. Ist die Performance dann immer noch so schlecht?!

Naja ich schneide auf meinem 2018er Macbook Pro (i7, 32GB RAM, 1TB Festplatte). Habe soeben eine neue Mediathek erstellt und dort 2 andere Clips (von meinem iPhone 4k 60fps Aufnahmen importiert).
Die Titel scheinen kleine Probleme zu sein, dort kann ich die Dauer problemlos ändern. Bei den Videos schaut es schon wieder schlecht aus, das letzte Video in der Timeline geht grundsätzlich nicht all zu schlecht, aber wenn ich z.B.: das 1. nehme und es kürze, kommt sofort der Regenbogen und es geht gar nichts mehr. Mir fällt auf, sobald sich vorne der Beginn verschiebt kommt das Programm damit gar nicht klar....

Habe übrigens schon wieder einen weiteren tollen Bug gefunden....
Wenn ich zum Beispiel einen Effekt auf meinen Clip ziehe und von diesem dann die Farbe ändern will, funktioniert das nur, wenn ich auf die Farbe direkt klicke und sich dann der Runde Farbselector öffnet.
Klicke ich auf das Dropdown Feld wird eine ganze Farbpalette angezeigt, sobald ich aber nur mit der Maus darüber fahre, stürzt das ganze Programm in Sekundenschnelle ab.

Bin nicht der Experte für den Fehlercode, hoffe andere. Was ist eigentlich mit anderen Programmen wie IMovie und Adobe Premiere? Gibt es dort keine Probleme mit dem Material?

@Schneekönig Ich leider auch nicht, aber womöglich kennt sich ja jemand damit aus.
Gute Idee, verwende die Adobe Suite leider nicht im Bezug auf Videos und kann es daher nicht testen.
Mit Apples eigenem iMovie klappt das Kürzen in der Timeline aber zumindest mit dem Material vom iPhone X (4k 60 fps) problemlos.
Habe die anderen Aufnahmen bereits gelöscht, aber ich denke, dass es sich bei Final Cut nicht bedingt um die Aufnahmen selber handelt sondern um andere Probleme da ja selbst Apples eigens integrierte Titel beim Verlängern oder Kürzen das Programm zum crashen bringen.

Naja bin selber etwas ratlos. Hoffe nur, dass sich herausstellt woran das liegen kann, zumal es ja selbst in iMovie ohne Probleme funktioniert.
