[iMac] Problem mit der Performance

Guten Morgen,

der iMac meiner Frau (i5, SSD-Festplatte, gekauft Weihnachten 2012) ist sehr langsam geworden.

Ich benutze an diesem Rechner nur ein Publisher-Programm - das hat "früher" mal innerhalb von 10 Sekunden die Bereitschaft zum Arbeiten gezeigt.

Gestern Abend musste ich 1,5 Minuten warten bis ich arbeiten konnte.

Ich vermute, dass die SSD-Platte so langsam hinüber ist.

Gibt es ein Dienstprogramm, mit welchem ich das feststellen kann?

Ich vermute, dass die SSD-Platte so langsam hinüber ist.

Du könntest versuchen, die SMART-Parameter auszulesen und hier zu posten. Bei einigen SSDs kommen da allerdings nicht besonders aussagekräftige Werte heraus. Ist es ein Fusion Drive?

Es kann natürlich auch an anderen Problemen wie Malware und "Sicherheits"software liegen. Beides lässt sich mit EtreCheck feststellen. Lade es dir herunter, erstelle ein Log und starte dort auch das angebotene Auslesen der SMART-Werte.

Beides kannst du zur Analyse hier posten.

Hier ist die Frage für mich: Ist der Rechner so langsam, weil die Festplatte am Ende Ihrer Lebensdauer angekommen ist oder ist das System so langsam weil es nach 4,5 Jahren einfach mal komplett neu aufgesetzt werden sollte.

Ich lese nur HDD. Sicher das eine SSD verbaut ist? Hast du Fusion Drive? Ist der Mac auch beim booten langsam, etc? Mechanische Festplatten neigen dazu mal den Geist aufzugeben, teilweise mit akustischer Ankündigung.

Leider kann ich daraus kein scharfes Bild gewinnen, da die Werte oft unterschiedlich interpretiert werden. So ganz in Ordnung scheint mir die Platte aber nicht zu sein. Aber es kann auch sein, dass das historisch bedingt "gesammtelte" Fehler sind, die nicht auf ein akutes Problem deuten.

Ich würde zunächst zwei Dinge tun:

1. Backup machen!
2. Die o.g. Parameter regelmäßig auslesen und beobachten, ob sie sich verändern. Das sollte nicht sein.
