DS 211+
Update auf
DSM 3.2-1922 ist erfolgreich gewesen.

Positiv fällt mir auf:
- das TM nun endlich wieder das vorgegebene Nutzungslimit (Quata) beachtet
- Subjektiv geht das Verbinden mit den Verzeichnissen etwas schneller als bei der Beta

Bitte beachten, dass auch einige der Tools Pakete aktualisiert wurden..

Negativ ist leider, Aperture noch immer bei NAS gelagerten Bildern die Verbindung verliert,
also wird das wohl doch ein Hauseigenes Lion/Aperture Problem von Apple sein

  • LDAP client is currently not compatible with Windows domain, Microsoft exchange server, and IBM Lotus Domino LDAP Server.
  • Remote Folder is currently not compatible with Mac Samba Server as a target.
  • The password for the guest account in DiskStation has to be disabled if you wish connect the DiskStation from Mac OS X 10.7 with a guest account via samba.
  • Refer to "Limitation & Known Issues for all versions" for other limitations.

Lohnt sich denn der Umstieg von der 3.2 Beta auf die jetzt freigegebene Version? Weil ich bin mit der Beta eigentlich auf dem DS211 ganz zufrieden. Und bei einem Update auf die neue freigegebene Firmware besteht (zumindest theoretisch) die Gefahr eines Datenverlustes. (Ich habe zwar die Daten doppelt und dreifach aber es wäre nervig wenn sie weg wären)

Ich denke schon, dass sich der Umstieg lohnt, allein wegen des TM Bugs in der Beta.
Wenn Du erstmal ein paar Tage warten möchtest, behalte halt einfach mal das
Forum im Auge.

Update: Habe nun auf die freigegebene Version der 3.2 geupdatet: Alles verlief ganz problemlos! Ich kann Synology echt nur empfehlen!
