Macbook Pro fährt ohne Vorwarnung herunter!

Habe momentan ein kleines (vielleicht auch größeres) Problem mit meinem MBP Mid2010:

Seit einiger Zeit, ich kann nicht mehr genau sagen, ob es vor 10.8 schon der Fall war, fährt mein Macbook in größeren Abständen (einige Tage, auch mal 2 Wochen) plötzlich ohne Vorwarnung einfach herunter. Der Bildschirm wird schwarz - dann startet es von allein neu und es wird ein weißer Bildschirm mit einem Text in mehreren Sprachen angezeigt, dass aufgrund eines Problems neugestartet wurde, danach fährt es normal hoch...

Kenne mich in der Hinsicht wirklich nicht aus, sehe nur irgendwas mit "GPU Panic"!? Vielleicht könnte sich jemand mit Ahnung mal den Log anschauen, ich hoffe dass es sich um nichts ernstes handelt! Vielen Dank im Voraus!

Hab nochmal etwas gegoogelt und wie es scheint, ist das ein bekanntes Problem bei den MBPs Mid2010...es liegt wohl irgendwie an der Nvidia Grafikeinheit und tritt mit Mavericks verstärkt auf...
Garantie wird zwar wegen diesem Problem auf 3 Jahre verlängert, allerdings bin ich darüber und nur in manchen Fällen wird in den USA noch das Motherboard for free getauscht.

Ein Eintrag im folgenden Link schreibt, dass es in D 450,- € kostet wenn man außerhalb der Garantie ist...na klasse.

Du hast ein Problem mit der Grafikkarte.
Soviel gelesen habe, kommt das vom Upgrade Snow Leopard (32 bit-System) --> Mountain Lion (64 bit)
Vielleicht betrifft es dieses Book, dann kannst du auf Kulanz hoffen. Jedenfalls musst du mit diesem Fehler zu Apple oder zum Reseller, denn von selbst löst sich ein Hardwarefehler nicht auf.

Es wird wohl so sein, dass ich davon betroffen bin ja...allerdings wird in dem verlinkten Apple-Hilfe-Forum von mir bereits gesagt, dass es eine erweiterte Kulanz von 3 Jahren gibt. Da bin ich aber darüber...und in einem Post von jemandem dort aus Berlin steht, dass Kulanz bei ihm abgelehnt wurde und es 450€ kosten würde...die würde ich aber nur ungern in das (alte) Gerät stecken wollen.

Habe jetzt mal den Tipp aus dem anderen Link ausprobiert...vielleicht bringt es ja was. Ich hatte ja davor auch Lion und Mountain Lion...da war das Problem noch nicht so weit ich mich erinnern kann. Möglicherweise hilft ja doch noch ein Update!?
