Macbook Pro crashed

Hallo zusammen


meine Frau hat sich kürzlich auf Ebay ein ca. 10 Jahre altes Macbook Pro gekauft.
Das lief dann nach einigen System-Updates stabil.

Gestern hat sie sich dann nach eigener Aussage nur Open Office installiert und seitdem crashed es ( das MacOs ) nach wenigen Minuten und startet dann entsprechend neu. Daher darf ich jetzt den Unsinn wieder gerade ziehen. Ich bin berufsbedingt fit in Windows und Linux, allerdings nicht im Bereich MacOs. Daher brauche ich eure Hilfe.

Was ich bisher versucht habe:
Command + R beim Boot, dann Festplatten gescanned ( die MacOs Partition und die Datenpartition ). Ergebnislos. Jedenfalls hat er kein Fenster geöffnet was mir irgendwelche Hinweise auf Fehler gibt.
Einen Wiederherstellungspunkt gibt es scheinbar nicht.
Bei den Dienstprogrammen gibt es ja auch die Möglichkeit einer Neuinstallation von MacOs.

Dazu meine Frage:
Macht eine Neuinstallation Sinn? Insbesondere wenn das System instabil ist, ist ja eine Neuinstallation womöglich keine gute Idee.
Wobei es in diesem Dienstprogramme-Modus stabil läuft. Wird bei der Neuinstallation auch die Datenpartition neu aufgesetzt, oder nur die MacOs-Partition?

Ich glaube ich kann dir nicht ganz folgen, oder wir reden aneinander vorbei. Mein Problem ist:
Wenn ich das Ding normal starte ( ohne Command+R ) fliegt der nach spätestens 5 Minuten weg ( auch während er aufs Login wartet ). Die Zeit, die ich habe, um irgendwas im Netz runterzuladen ist minimal. Von Installieren und Starten ganz zu schweigen. Sonst hätte ich als erstes mal OpenOffice wieder runtergeworfen. Soweit hab ich es aber nie geschafft.

Das klingt m.E. schwer nach Hardwaredefekt. Hast du das mal gemacht?

Du hörst mir nicht zu - dann machst Du das halt paar mal hintereinander.

Die App herunter laden dauert keine Minute! Installieren brauchst die auch nicht - die kannst Du direkt mit einem Doppelklick starten. Oder schiebe sie halt in den Programme Ordner. All das dauert keine 5 Minuten.

Herunter laden 30 Sekunden - in Programme Ordner verschieben - 15 Sekunden.


Und wenn das alles nicht geht - dann kopiere halt den von Apple generierten Crash Log und poste diesen uns wenigstens hier rein.

Wenn es so schlimm ist, dass Du auf dem Rechner gar nichts hinbekommst und uns gar keine Hinweise nennen kannst - können wir Dir auch nicht helfen. Wie denn auch?

AHT Remote endet leider mit Fehler "3403D". D.h. die Internetrecovery-Funktion scheint nicht mehr zu gehen. Laut Internet scheint das mit Firmwareupdates zusammenzuhängen. Ich bräuchte vermutlich eine bootable DVD mit AHT drauf. Habe hier auf meinem Windows10 Notebook keinen Brenner. Die Variante fällt also erstmal aus.

weiterhin habe ich gelesen dass die 2010er MBPro scheinbar zu Problemen mit der Nvidia-Graka tendieren.... vielleicht ist dieses hier eines davon.

Ich habe auch gar nicht erwartet, dass mir hier jemand die perfekte Lösung serviert. Ich bin zudem absoluter Neuling im Bereich MacOs, brauche also einfach etwas länger für die meisten Dinge.

Ich versuche das mal mit etre und bleibe hartnäckig. Wenn es nach dem zehnten mal nicht klappt, dann vielleicht beim elften mal. Derzeit bin ich für jeden Hinweis dankbar, damit meine Frau aufhört zu fluchen, weil sie bei Apple vermutlich ne Art heile Welt erwartet hat, die sie jetzt nicht bekommt 😆

Hi,
vermute, bei dem Alter des Gerätes und einer HDD, dass diese defekt ist, da hilft nur eine SSD einbauen und die HDD zu entsorgen.

Wäre auch mein Tipp. Der Rechner wird zudem deutlich schneller. Wenn das nicht hilft, RAM testweise tauschen.

Wie wahrscheinlich ist hier, dass es an der Platte liegt und nicht an der Graka, dem RAM oder was anderem? Ich meine, ne SSD kostet nicht die welt und ne Install-DVD für MacOs haben wir auch da.

Ich will nur einfach vermeiden, ein totes Pferd zu reiten.

Bei diesem System scheint ja alle paar Sekunden etwas abzustürzen. Wenn so viele Fehler quer über alle Programme hinweg auftreten, ist in der Regel das RAM defekt.

Es wäre zu prüfen, ob das System nach testweisem Herausnehmen jeweils eines RAM-Moduls stabil läuft. Es gibt eine Ein-/Ausbauanleitung von Apple.

Ich habe jetzt mal Memtest86 drüber laufen lassen und er hat 59 Fehler gefunden. Ich schließe daraus, dass es tatsächlich am Speicher liegt. Dennoch werden wir auch die HDD durch eine SSD ersetzen. Danke für eure Hilfe.
