Für die iPhone 7 Modelle in der neuen Farboption “Diamantschwarz” (engl. “Jetblack”) hat Apple bestätigt, dass diese derzeit komplett ausverkauft sind. Ein Anstehen vor den Apple Stores für diese Modelle ist demnach zwecklos.
Apple zeigt sich in der Mitteilung, die über zahlreiche amerikanische Tech-Blogs verteilt wird, sehr zufrieden mit der Verkaufsleistung und teilt mit, dass es sehr geringe Mengen der anderen Farboptionen für so genannte “Walk In Customer” (Spontankäufer) geben wird. Manche Beobachter gehen davon aus, dass es kaum freie Geräte geben wird.
Auch Online sind iPhone 7 und iPhone 7 plus in Diamantschwarz derzeit nicht zu bekommen. Die deutsche Apple Webseite gibt derzeit eine Lieferzeit von drei bis fünf Wochen an.
Apple hatte das iPhone 7 und eine neue Generation der Apple Watch am 7. September im Rahmen eines Events im Bill Graham Auditorium in San Francisco vorgestellt. Im Vorfeld war bereits spekuliert worden, dass es eine neue Farbe im Sortiment geben könnte. Der Vorverkauf der Geräte war am 9. September gestartet.

Beginning Friday, limited quantities of iPhone 7 in silver, gold, rose gold, and black will be available for walk-in customers at Apple retail stores. During the online pre-order period, initial quantities of iPhone 7 Plus in all finishes and iPhone 7 in jet black sold out and will not be available for walk-in customers. Availability at partner locations for all finishes may vary and we recommend checking directly with them.
Customers can continue to order all models in all colors on apple.com. We sincerely appreciate our customers’ patience as we work hard to get the new iPhone into the hands of everyone who wants one as quickly as possible.
