QuickPwn: Jailbreak ohne Vollen Restore

Das Team das uns Pwnage gebracht hat arbeitet derzeit an QuickPwn - eine Lösung die es erlaubt einen Touch/iPhone ohne vollen Restore zu jailbraken.

Die Software ist derzeit in BETA kann aber bereits runtergeladen werden. Es gibt zum jetztigen Zeitpunkt auch nur eine WINDOWS Version - andere (Mac) sollen in Kürze folgen.

Ebenso funktionier diese Version nur mit Firmware 2.0.1!

We’ve got something for you! (No, it’s not the 3G unlock, but still something very useful.)

It’s a tool we’ve been working on to jailbreak a phone more quickly and easily, without requiring a full restore. Unless you are making a custom firmware with specific features, there is nothing inherent in the pwnage process that requires a restore, and we have been planning this tool for some time. It’s more convenient because you do not need to make a full IPSW and use iTunes with it, but your phone still ends up pwned and jailbroken.

In an attempt to be more open about our development process, we’re releasing a beta version of quickpwn, for Windows only. Other platforms are coming soon.

What you’re getting here is a development version (mostly feature complete) of an upcoming tool that we see as a complement to our current PwnageTool. It’s not ready for everyone just yet, but with a bit of expertise, it should work nicely for those of you adventurous enough to try it.

Remember that although this is a development release, jailbreaking only deals with the S5L (application processor) side of the device, so it’s impossible for this to permanently damage your device.

This tool and technique has been available to the iPhone research and hacking community for about 5 days now (if you looked hard enough) and now we’ve released this we are sure you’ll see all sorts of tools popping back up that have, erm„ been on a long hiatus

PS: Yes, our best baseband hackers are working away hard on the 3G unlock, we are not sure when, or even if it is possible, but we’ll keep you informed of any new progress that is made.

Habe ich das richtig verstanden, dass dieses neue Tool nur Jailbreak machen kann, kein Unlock? Eine Custom Firmware ist nicht notwendig, d. h. man kann sich direkt im iTunes die neue Version herunterladen/installieren und anschließend auf dem iPhone jailbreaken? Warum ist es wohl notwendig geworden, solch ein Tool zu erstellen?

ich verstehe nicht ganz heißt das z.b. wenn mein iphone aus den staaten kommt jetzt durch ein software update gesperrt ist kann es so wieder für alle sim freigeschaltet werden gruß ric

Korrekt.

So habe ich es verstanden.

Weil es schneller geht als eine Custom Firmware zu machen und einige Leute einfach nur das Teil jailbraken wollen um vollen Zugriff zu erhalten.

NEIN. Es ist KEIN UNLOCK! Es ist nur ein Jailbreak. Zumindest auf dem 3G - wie es bei einem alten iPhone ausschaut - keine Ahnung, diesesTool ist NUR für den Jailbreak gedacht.

Das Ding includiert zurzeit nur einen Jailbreak. Obwohl Unterstützung vom BootNeuter eingebaut ist.
Wer es also entsperrt haben will muss ich über Cydia noch BootNeuter runterladen und dann unlocken.

Ich habe den T-Mobile Vertrag Complete M. Wenn ich Jailbreake, kann ich dann umts flat freiminuten und frei sms weiter nutzen?.

Das frage ich nur da bei T-Mobile im Kleingedruckten etwas vom Verändern der Voreistellungen steht.

PS: Hat jemand von euch den Jailbreak schon gemacht. Gibt es Bugs oder sonstige Fehlermeldungen?
