Die Aufzeichnung vom vergangenen Freitag soll im Rahmen der NBC-Show Rock Center am kommenden Donnerstagabend ausgestrahlt werden. In einer Vorankündigung zu dem Interview ließ Brian Williams verlauten, dass es interessant gewesen wäre, zu sehen, dass viele Menschen Tim Cook gar nicht als Apple-Chef wahrgenommen hätten. Anscheinend konnte er problemlos quer durch den Grand Central Terminal laufen, ohne permanent angesprochen zu werden.
"Unlike the man he replaced, Steve Jobs, Tim Cook was able to walk all but unrecognized across the central floor of Grand Central Station," Williams said. "Once we got to his Apple store that changed, of course, as devoted fans approached and treated him like a rock star.”
