Google mal, wie du das komische jdibackup bzw. ZipCloud geblubber los wirst.
MacKeeper muss ebenfalls komplett runter vom OS X.
Adobe PDF viewer benötigt man unter der OS X Version auch nicht mehr.

Dein letztes Backup ist einige Vollmonde her. Die Daten auf dem Mac sind dir wohl nicht ganz so wichtig?
...in dem Fall würde ich dir sogar raten, den Mac mal komplett neu aufzusetzen und das OS X frisch aufzuspielen.

Ihr Lieben, leider ist es kein Test - ihr seid ja lustig... dafür, dass so viel drauf ist, läuft er echt noch verdammt gut :(((
Bin grad dabei Programme zu deinstallieren. Bin mir aber nicht sicher, ob ich dieses ZipCloud / jdi-Zeug erwischt habe...

vermute das bei mir ebenfalls die Festplatte aufgibt. Woran erkennt ihr es an der Auswertung von EtreCheck?

Davon ist nichts zu erkennen.

Der Rechner wird jedoch stark ausgebremst, weil im Hintergrund die Synchronisationsdienste für Kalender und Kontakte alle paar Sekunden abstürzen. Das System ist hauptsächlich damit beschäftigt, Informationen über diese Abstürze zu sammeln.

Außerdem wird sichtbar, dass der Akku stark abgenutzt ist, dass Du Time Machine nicht verwendest und eine gefährlich alte Version von OS X El Capitan einsetzt. Das sollte schnellstmöglich auf 10.11.6 aktualisiert werden.

Möglicherweise stimmt auch etwas mit den Programmen Fotos, Nachrichten und den zugehörigen Telefoniediensten nicht.

das Notebook ist außerdem gerade mit Spotlightindexierung beschäftigt.

Die Modellreihe weist im Bereich Festplatte auch zwei immer wieder auftretende Probleme auf:
1. defekt gehendes SATA-Kabel,
2. zu viele Parkvorgänge auf der internen Festplatte (zu aggressives Powermanagement, Ausschalten quasi im 10s-Takt, vermutlich Bug).

Letztere zwei könnte man durch ein Posten der SMART-Werte wie hier beschrieben sehen: https://www.apfeltalk.de/community/threads/macbook-pro-mid-2012-und-der-beachball.468240/#post-4417264
Beide Aspekte können an einer Langsamkeit und Beachballs ("spinning wheel of death") Schuld sein.

Festplatte ist kaputt, austauschen! Am besten gegen eine SSD. Eine Crucial MX300 kostet ca. 100 Euro für 256GB, und nicht mal 150 für 512GB. BX200/300 sind die noch preiswerteren Modelle.

Guten Abend,

auch ich habe ein Problem mit der Geschwindigkeit meines MacBook Pro.
Ich muss allerdings einräumen, dass die Kiste mittlerweile recht alt ist, möglicherweise dort auch die Grenzen liegen.
Nachgerüstet habe ich auf 8GB Ram und eine 1TB SSD.

Mein Problem tut sich überwiegend beim "Videoschnitt" in iMovie auf.
Ich versuche dort aber lediglich im völlig unprofessionellen Rahmen Videos und Fotos als Urlaubserinnerung zusammen zu stellen.
Aufnahmegeräte sind mein iPhone 6s und eine neue Action-Cam von Sony (FDR-X3000R).
Leider kann ich mir auf dem Rechner leider nichtmal mehr das Rohmaterial ruckelfrei ansehen.
Aufgenommen wurde testweise in HD und in 4K.

Ich muss gestehen, dass ich meines Wissens nach in der Vergangenheit auch mal cleanmymac installiert hatte,
aktuell müsste es aber entfernt sein. Backups mache ich via wlan auf meiner TimeCapsule, stoße sie aber selbst an.

Anbei mein Log, auf dem auch mein ungeschultes Auge diverse Probleme vermutet.
Der Rechner wurde seit 2009 nie neu aufgesetzt. Danke für eure Mühe und euren Rat!

Du hast 6 Tabs in Safari offen, was den alten Rechner an seine Grenzen bringt. Da man nicht mehr RAM einbauen kann, solltest Du da die Arbeitslast (hier: die Anzahl der Tabs) reduzieren, damit der Rechner durch zu wenig Speicher nicht gebremst wird.

Ansonsten fällt auf: CleanMyMac ist nicht vollständig entfernt worden, die Java-Version ist veraltet und es ist SIMBL installiert, was einige grundsätzliche Gefahren mit sich bringen kann. Der Rest ist unbedenklich. Man sollte aber darüber nachdenken, ob man heute noch Flash Player und Adobe-Plugins im Browser braucht.

Grundsätzlich muss man natürlich sagen, dass ein 8 Jahre alter Grafikchip noch nicht dafür optimiert war, mit 4K-Video zu arbeiten.

Danke für die Einschätzung. Hast du einen Tipp für mich, wie ich die Reste von Clean... entfernt bekomme? Die sechs Tabs waren denke ich nur offen, da ich mir Anleitung und Co zum Posten hier geöffnet hatte

Flash und Adobe würdest du einfach killen?

Mit meiner Hardware werde ich also damit leben müssen, dass HD-Aufnahme und 4K quasi nahezu gar nicht angesehen werden können? Die Videos erinnern bei mir an ein Daumenkino. Mach es dem Mac das Leben schwer, dass ich in "Fotos" eine wirklich große Mediathek angelegt habe?

Das ist jetzt aber schon arg übertrieben ausgedrückt
