So boot64 ist installiert. Heute hat er updates gezogen und nun startet das system nicht mehr durch. Das doofe ist das ist, das ich auf dem Bildschirm nichts sehen kann und so keine bootpartition auswählen kann. Jemand eine Idee wie ist Lion oder EC zum starten überreden kann?

Edit: Ich habe die Festplatte jetzt an mein MacBook angeschlossen und die Boot.Efi nochmal überschrieben. Leider wieder ohne Erfolg.

Edit2: Lion konnte ich jetzt nach dem Einbau der Original Grafikkarte starten. Ich habe dann wieder die Boot.Efi ersetzt, aber leider fährt EC nicht hoch. Der Bildschirm erkennt kein Signal. Mir gehen leider langsam die Ideen aus. Lion lässt sich mit der neuen Grafikkarte (GT120) nicht starten.

Wenn die GraKa weder unter Lion noch unter ElCap läuft, deutet sehr, sehr viel auf eine defekte Grafikkarte hin. Ich würde es mal mit einer preiswerten WIN-Karte (Radeon HD4870 oder ähnliches) versuchen. Bei MacUser gibt es einen Grafikkarten-Thread zum MacPro. Da sind viele laufende WIN-Karten gelistet....

Hast Du den Kapitän denn jetzt am Laufen? Mit welcher Version? Das Update auf 10.11.5 sollte mit Boot64 klappen. und wenn nicht - Du hast ja Erfahrung im Austausch der Boot.efi

Edit: Ich habe Deine Postings noch mal gelesen: Hast Du Boot64 in 10.7 VOR der ElCap-Installation installiert? Das klappt so nicht, und dann hast Du ein Problem beim Start.
Du musst erst eine lauffähige Version von 10.11 auf dem MacPro 1.1 haben, dann dort die Boot64 als Schutz für die Boot.efi bei Apple-Updates.

Der Kapitän läuft wieder. Installiert mit der Version 10.11 und nun auf 10.11.5 aktualisiert. Die Boot.Efis musste ich nach dem Update nochmal tauschen, aber das kann ich ja jetzt

Boot64 habe ich direkt nach der Installation von EC (10.11) installiert, erst im Anschluss habe ich aktualisiert (da zwischen hab ich einen Neustart gemacht). Danke nochmal für den Support!

Hallo Leute,

ich habe auch mal meinen alten MacPro 1.1 hervor gekramt um ein bisschen damit zu Spielen.

Hier noch mal ein Riesen danke schön an die Anleitungen und Ratschläge damit konnte ich praktisch ohne Probleme OSX 10.11 zum laufen bringen.

Leider hab ich jetzt noch ein unschönheit und wollte mal fragen ob jemand Ähnliche sorgen hat oder ob das vielleicht auch einfach an der Hardware liegen kann.

nach ein bestimmten Laufzeit (mal 5 min mal 30 min) startet der Mac einfach neu.

Das System ist ausgestattet mit 2x2,66Xeon Prozessoren und 4 GB Ram.
Es hat eine 128GB SSD platte und eine ATI HD 7550 GraKa

Das würde ich schon nicht mehr als "Unschönheit" bezeichnen. Aber ohne weitere Infos kann man nur mutmaßen. Von der Laufzeit her - und wenn es bei unterschiedlichen Apps passiert - könnte es evtl. ein Temperaturproblem sein. Was sagt denn die Konsole (Dienstprogramme - Konsole.app)? Zeit des Neustarts merken und da dann mal nachgucken. Scheint mir jedenfalls kein Standardproblem der MP1.1-Aufrüstung zu sein.

Das sieht ganz nach einem Speicherfehler aus.Leider hast du nicht geschrieben ob der Rechner bei bestimmten Aktionen abschmiert oder unbestimmt.
Du kannst die Konsole im Ordner Dienstprogramme starten und im Hauptfenster den Button "Fenster Löschen " betätigen.
Dan wartest du bis zum Absturz des Rechners. Anschliessend schaust du nach der Fehlermeldung in der Konsole.
Wenn du die Meldungen nicht interpretieren kannst melde dich.

@SE 30 - Speicher (RAM) kann natürlich auch die Ursache sein. Dazu fällt mir gerade ein, dass lt. MacRumors Speicherbausteine mit 512MB im "gepimpten" 1.1 schon mal Ärger produziert haben. Das war allerdings meist bei Updates eine Fehlerquelle. Und bei 4GB tippe ich mal auf mindestens 2 512er Module.

Die 32GB bei eBay hab ich auch auf meiner Beobachtungsliste. Allerdings habe ich bisher noch keine RAM Knappheit bei meinem 2.1 festgestellt. Habe z.Zt. bunt gemischte 16GB am Laufen, u.a. auch 2x4GB von dem Verkäufer, der die 32GB anbietet. Empfehlenswert! Wenn Du die 32GB reinsteckst, meinst Du, vor einem neuen Rechner zu sitzen. Und viel billiger wird das RAM bestimmt auf absehbare Zeit nicht.

Das ist meine Hoffnung , brauche einfach nur ein gerät wider für mich Privat weil ich nur noch von der Arbeit her einen MacBook Pro habe und ich da nicht alle drauf machen kann/will

Und viel billiger wird das RAM bestimmt auf absehbare Zeit nicht.

Den Gedanken hatte ich auch 88 euro dafür das der warscheinlich nie wieder neuen Speicher braucht ist ein gutes Angebot.

Klar mache ich


aber ich habe grade mal angefangen den arbeite Speicher durch zu probieren
vorhanden sind 4x512MB und 2x1GB


wenn ich nur die beiden 1GB Riegel drin habe führt das zu einem sofortigen Absturz
bei 2x512MB auch

bei 2X1GB und 2X512MB scheint er stabile zu bleiben

und ich hab hier mal den error Auszug

So wie es aussieht sind einer oder beide 512er Riegel defekt.Sie werden beim letzten Crashlog nicht mehr im Riser A aufgeführt.
Du wirst wohl neuen Ram brauchen.
Angehängt habe ich dir die Speicherplatz Anordnung aus dem Apple Service Handbuch für das 2006er Modell.
Zu erwähnen wäre noch das die Höherwertigen Module (Ramgrösse) in Riser A sollen.
Am besten ist natürlich alle Module sind gleich groß.
